To add to your request, all of the eBay emails should have more information. If it is a sale, buyers question, or a return request the email should have all of the information included. We should not need to click through multiple screens just to get all of the information needed.

Hello and good afternoon
I wanted to make a suggestion if I could to whichever department that is in charge of sending out emails to sellers alerting them that a sale has been made on eBay. That email is usually titled "Congratulations, your item sold and it’s been paid for." This email already has a good deal of information contained within it.
But it is missing a key element. The seller's "Custom label (sku)" number which sellers like myself assign as an inventory number or a unique identifier for that listing or product, which in this case has just sold.
If that Custom label (sku) number were also included within the sold email that would be very helpful to me as a seller by allowing me to be more efficient with my time, when processing an item post sale. I would not have to necessarily log into eBay on any given device just to find out what the Custom label (sku) number actually is for that item, that I assigned at the time that I made that listing. I use that number as an inventory number and require it post sale in order to locate that item so that it can then be processed and then shipped. By including this number within the sold email it would remove an unnecessary and time consuming step out of the current post sale work flow, once an item has been sold.
Hi @go-bad-chicken, this is a great idea! I will get this passed along to the appropriate team, no problem!

I have checked UPS, FedEx and DHL and I get the same response about the information being incorrect. I have never seen a number like this: 4207xxxxxxxx
*post edited to remove full tracking number
Hi @greg213213, that looks like the way tracking would format when USPS and UPS are partnering together. Customer Service will be able to help you further if you contact them 🙂

I just tried that number and this is the message:
Status Not Available
The tracking number may be incorrect or the status update is not yet available. Please verify your tracking number and try again later.

tyler@ebay Is tech aware of the issue where the page numbers are not appearing at the bottom of the screen for some memebers? https://community.ebay.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Ebay-search-issues/m-p/30859183/highlight/true#M69846

I understand that eBay currently has no intent to expanding the number of people we can block. That being said why is the number so low considering how many active users there are on the site now? This is one of the most important tools sellers have to try to protect themselves from bad buyers.5,000 is low? How many do you think you think you need? I've been here over 20 years and I am no where near 5,000 blocked buyers.
BTW you can clean up your blocked bidder list to free up some space if you need it. Go to your BBL, scroll down to the end of the list of buyers you have on your BBL. Any of them with the extension of @deleted, you could delete as they are NARU'd.
It really depends on how aggressively start dealing with blocking. Electronics is a high scam category so it can get tricky. Most of the China based buyers I deal with are running 10+ accounts.
I still can not see with the transaction level you have on this account why 5,000 is not more than enough.
What is your criteria for blocking members?

Still seeing that bug where eBay's system is randomly marking and unmarking things as shipped. I am up to four instances of it happening now. Hopefully it can be addressed with the many other bugs sellers are running into at the moment.
Hi @gwzcomps - I know that @Anonymous was working with you on this and was requesting screenshots. If you have those will you please get them over to him so he can dig into it? Thanks!

Ebay claims to be operating a fair policy in terms of products relating to covid but i strongly believe it is untrue.
They are giving unfair advantage to sellers who are hiking the prices of items and putting them as sponsored listing so ebay can make more money on each sale.
All the items showing as sponsored listing are all hiked prices and honest sellers like myself who want to sell the same product (sanitiser) at a reasonable much lower price than all the sponsored ones are being delisted.
It is giving unfair advantage to favour ebay.
Hi @mekkhasgirl, we currently do not allow certain items on the site. If you find listings that violate our current policies then please report them and our teams will review and take appropriate actions. We are also proactively monitoring the site and taking action on listings that violate our policy.

Is there any way to have more than 250 variations?

Regarding item specifics in listings
I sell in a category that seems to have some crazy item specifics. Although I like to be complete when I list items, there are some that I just don't get and wonder why they show up all the time.
For example, in mens Briefs, I am asked to provide IS for character, character family, theme
And then there are some that are just repetitive
Mens Briefs, Type Briefs, Product Line, Model
Graphic Print, Pattern.
and when I fill out some of them, I can go back after they are listed and on the site for a bit and I find that there are missing Specifics that I know that I put in originally.
Does ebay kick out some IS for any reason? What happens when you leave out stuff like Type, product line etc?
It just seems like I try to fill them out completely and then get a notice that I need to fill them out again.
How often do these standards for IS change? Is this part of the updates that ebay does and we have to continually change the IS?
Thanks

In reply to the question about adding SKU to the sale notice:
- maybe SKU could be a non-mandatory IS, so eBay could easily find it
also
- the Paypal notice of payment includes the listing # in the subject line
I would find that hugely useful, too

I think the screenshots would break board rules since they would contain buyer information. I will try to email them on one of the older emails I have from Trinton.
