For the last few days when my browser automatically loaded eBay as my preferred site I keep getting errors. I changed my auto load page to Etsy and have not had any problems with their site, Google or any other site. Just eBay.
Also when I use the Internet drop down list to go to eBay I get the same error messages. The only way I have been able to access eBay is through outside items such as items sold and various other assorted items. This is getting really tedious when I need to list, promote and ship items.
What's going on. Is anyone else having an issue?

Same. And I just had another excruciating conversation with an Ebay employee who told me it was working fine for her and that I should use Chrome instead because "it's what we use here." I asked her how they were going to tell the thousands of Internet Explorer customers to not go to Etsy or Amazon, they should simply switch to Chrome because Ebay likes it better.

Alan,
Re. the reply post below from @kathieskorner which sums up the frustration for all;
"It is not just IE - I use IE on this computer - Firefox on the other - same problem on both. Seems to be limited only to the eBay Official Site home page, and we are now on Day 3.
I've been selling on eBay for 19 years and now have four accounts - this is the first weekend in my memory that I have had zero sales on all my accounts, and March is typically my best month for sales of the year. "
The eBay website has a coding error and many, many customers are not able to access the site. Could you please escalate this extremely important issue. Thanks, @greg5000

Same problem and same specs on my PC. I've been a member since 2010, so I guess I missed the Great Years.
I just posted this on another thread, to reply to a member;
Yes, this started a week ago and is not resolved yet. I'm on Windows 7 & IE 11 and not planning to change right now. No other issues on any other e-merchant site or any other website.
Please see my posts on other threads here at CB under Technical Issues. I finally got the attention of Alan, the Community Boards Manager, who said that they created a ticket to address this.
To all those posting "helpful" suggestions to switch to Chrome, thanks, but many users want the Problem fixed and soon. This was caused by bad eBay system update coding and needs to be resolved. It's only resulting in loss of Sales for Customers, loss of revenue for eBay and turning away Customers (Existing and Potential).

It has now been over a month and eBay has still not resolved the Home Page Error.
eBay, please fix this so all of your Customers can access the eBay website.

Yes, eBay Customer Support seems to be silent and inept. It's a quiet ride to insanity ......
While I'm writing this, the eBay site has yet another confirmed problem and pages are loading sloooooooowly. I think eBay is getting bogged down with all of the GTC listings that are now "relisting" automatically and not selling. Search functions don't seem to be working well either, and now Chrome users are reporting they can't see items at members stores, but can see them using Internet Explorer (with screenshot proof provided today).
It seems like everyone is gathering here at Community Boards to see what happens next.

Sorry about your excruciating conversation with eBay, I've had some of those too.
It's now been over a month and the problem is still not resolved, appears to be getting worse (i.e. my work-around requires an extra step) and now Chrome users are reporting the can't see members listings at their stores, but they can when they use Internet Explorer (screenshots were provided today).
Still not buying here and don't intend to, unless there is a radical shift to providing Real Customer Support.

Well, It's been a month.... the good news is I have been able to log in to the eBay homepage today with no problems. Yesterday there were a few glitches. Happy to not have to do a work around anymore! Cautiously optimistic at this point. Will save my thanks to eBay until next week

Glad you can get in the Front Door today, where "Customers Should Always Be Welcome."
I check every day and still saw the Error this morning. It's possible eBay is fixing this one user at a time and trying to patch some code via cookies and your connection. If so, I'll probably be the last one they fix, as I've been very vocal about this.

eBay does not single out users! This, unlike the communities on other venues, is a free speech community.

I hope that's true, as I'm seeing it a little different here. I don't use any social media (except recently here at Community Boards). It's better to get away from the computer as much as we can, to experience and enjoy life.

Urgent! Please fix this issue eBay, your loyal small sellers are hurting!
Many of us are experiencing a sudden drop in sales volume that started in March and is, unfortunately, going on into April.
It appears this slowdown has something to do with changes to the site coding that occurred with the introduction of mandatory GTC listings in March.
