Has anyone had this happen to them in the past? I never had this happen to me before, and unfortunately it's still occurring. All my listings are done on my desktop. Last night, I made a revision in the description for a scheduled listing. After adding some more information, I then checked the preview, which showed the revisions, then I clicked "save." However, when I checked this particular scheduled listing on the Seller Hub, the revisions that I had just made to the description weren't seen. I checked my eBay app on my phone, and the scheduled listing had the revisions correctly displayed. I chatted with an eBay rep, and he said that he saw my revisions for this particular listing on his end. He suggested refreshing the page. This same scenario happened again tonight. I revised a description on a scheduled listing, checked the preview, which showed my revisions, then clicked "save." The scheduled listing on my Seller Hub doesn't show the revisions, but it shows up on my eBay app. I've cleared the cache on my PC, and then tried logging off eBay, then logging back on. I also tried viewing my account on another web browser. No change. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening all of a sudden?

I presume eventually you saw the revision on the pc on the lst item?

Sounds like a longer lag time on the pc for it to show........

I am also having a very similar problem... revisions in the description are not showing , just as you describe. I am using a pc desktop, chrome browser. I just noticed this happening 2 days ago. Hopefully only a temporary ebay glitch.

Same thing happening to me. But random. If I go into a listing to make a minor description change, then save it - I will then bring up the live listing and do NOT see my change. If I, however, revise it again, the listing (not active) shows the change I made. Save it. Look at it "live", change is not there. It has only been happening the past 2 or 3 days.

If anyone is making description changes to active listings - be sure to check what they look like when they are live and make sure your changes are there. Mine are a minor hassle because I've only changed a code I use for listing management purposes. Thank goodness it's not a major revision to a description. I bet most people don't even know this is going on. Dangerous!

I agree that this could be very problematic for sellers, especially those who list items on a desktop. There are many sellers who might not be aware that this can happen to them. This problem started 3 days ago, and continues to this day.

On Tuesday, I revised a description that stated an item was going to be shipped USPS Priority Mail. It turned out to be too expensive, so I decided to ship it UPS Ground instead, and wanted that fact known in the description. Once again, the revision appeared correctly on the "preview," but once I clicked "save," the revision did not appear in the Seller Hub on my desktop, but appeared correctly on the eBay app.

Coincidentally, now the eBay app is totally out of sync with what's going on in my listings. It does not show the latest bids, and my listings that are now "live" are showing still "scheduled" in the app. It's so annoying and buggy that I decided to uninstall the app. IMO, this is totally uncalled for. Sellers are struggling as it is, and these "glitches" not only could lead to a potential negative feedback, but doesn't instill the type of confidence one needs to continue as a seller on this platform.

As I stated to another seller below, now I'm having issues with the eBay app. I'm not counting on this being temporary. Ebay will probably drag their feet correcting this issue.

I am having the same issues with 2 different browsers and have tried everything. I`m assuming I could end the listings, edit them and put them back up but I already have watchers. I wish they`d fix these issues. Does anyone from ebay read these tech problems???

I just posted this same situation on today's Community Chat. It has been happening to me for a few months now. Everything else, title, photos, item specifics, etc update, but not the text in the description box.

I did not get a resolution. I had to eventually end the listings that would not revise the description and make a new listing.

I did one yesterday to see if there was lag time, but the description text remained for the 'old' listing and not the 'new' listing.

Frustrating!

I'm on a desktop Mac, Safari, and never in 12 years had this problem, but this has been happening for a few months now.

Totally DANGEROUS!! Imagine the amount of INAD cases that could be opened!

Unbelievable. Just shows that they could care less. From here on out sellers need to be really cognizant doing their listings prior to posting it live. Check everything 2 to 3 times if you have to, because it's just a matter of time before one of us gets a negative feedback due to a "one off" glitch.

I am in the same boat, 3 computers, 3 browser, and all looks good in the revision - until I save it and try to look from a buyers prospective, no changes made. Must be a glitch.
