Item views all changed to 0 and decline in sales

All of my store and auction item views changed to 0.  My sales have also declined in the past few days.  I just want to be sure that my listings are showing up properly.  Thank you

had the same problem! 0 views for days. I had 66 active listing but when I click on my store it shows 0 item?! not even mention the drop of sales. Contacted eBay and they said my account looks fine, When I searched my item from other account I couldn't find it as well which had never happened before.......anyone had the same issue?

Please report. I have done so already. They need to know how many people are experiencing this. I items being watched and yet no views. I also have 80 percent of my 200 items showing no views. Usually it is like maybe 10 percent.  I had friends click on them to see if views would show and they didn't. When I first called they tried to pass off on how new changes in views are calculated. I stated the above and told her to look at my account where views were o on 80 percent of items and that some had watchers and no views. she agreed there was an issue and said she would turn over to tech. Been over a week. still having issues. sales are down big time. I use to sell 2 or 3 items a week. Now barely selling that a month.  I don't belive the views are working correctly.

This is an excellent take on the new system. It’s not whether or not the buyer can see the views, it

is that we see them and can adjust the price, offer free shipping, or end the listing and go the flea market path with the item.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT.  THE VIEWING COUNT AFFECTS MOMENTUM.  E-BAY IS GOING TO LOSE CUSTOMERS.  MY BIDS ARE REALLY DOWN AS ARE MY SALES.  TIME TO GO TO ETSY.

What's going on is a lot of bots were looking at your items, and they may still be.  E-Bay isn't counting their views anymore. 

So you know those external sits that compile E-Bay listings and display them using the API.  People that view your items on those site are no longer going to show as a view.

As for your sales being down, thank our President!  High gas prices and a bad economy.  Businesses are starting to put on hiring freezes and some industries are laying people off.

It's going to get WORSE people!  Be prepared!

I also looked at three of your items at random from your list of listings.  I could search and find all three.  THe only thing I can tell you is that on all three items, the same or similar were available from other sellers for a better price.  So right now, with everyone being squeezed, you better be the lowest price or you will probably be passed over on items like what you sell.

Can I ask you why you care so much about the view count number?  You said you had friends click on your items, and I assume the saw them since you didn't raise any issue.  Your count didn't increase; so what?  They still could see and buy your item if they wanted.

Not sure why everyone is hung up on view count.  Do you think Wal-Mart knows  how many people pick up a shirt and look at it.  They just know how many they bought, how many they sold, what the sold for, and how long it took to sell them.  Those seem like the important metrics to me!

i also have noticed that overall listings are way down--i search ebay everyday certain catagories and last few weeks no one is listing anything--ever since the update

I am a new seller to ebay, (a teacher needing extra money, especially in summer).  The first month, my sales were really good, then BOOM.  Everything went to zero a couple weeks ago.  I have done everything I can think of to improve, researching, lowering prices, adding more photos (but I will NOT pay ebay any more money to promote).  I have had two small sales in the past two weeks.  Very disheartening.

I have the same issues. Many of my items have zero views and sales are way down. Hard to believe nobody is viewing my items.
