All of my store and auction item views changed to 0. My sales have also declined in the past few days. I just want to be sure that my listings are showing up properly. Thank you

Some info about recent changes to the way views are displayed can be found here:

Changes in the way views are counted have nothing to do with sales; buyers cannot see view numbers.

I'm new to Ebay. I listed a few items last week that had a few views . After I updated the items, added more photos, information and prices. My views dropped to 0 and have stayed there ever since. I'm confused.

Yes, I read about the change in how views are counted, but they all go to 0 the next day. It is more like a 1 day count, not a 30 day count.

What is going on? I am having this issue as well. My sales are bad. A huge drop in views and all my views recently have been zeroed out?

Yes, my listings suffer the same problem. Since I saw the message told me the change took place, new listings i list got 0 view or may be 1 view in a week, and at the same time, my sales drop very dramatically. I tried to contact the seller help people, they said view count just the way how they count, didn't affect the sales. Now some listing show 0 view just because they got some technical problem, and it would be fixed in a few days. Really??? It looks like many seller suffer the same problem. As seller, we don't care how the view will count, we just care about the sales.

This is happening to me too! At the end of 30 days when doing inventory checks, I've noticed that my listings are getting 0 and 1 view. This has never happened to me before.

I do not have a store but all my visits are mostly zero but then some do have visits. Hmm. Even with the visits at zero I am selling items. Which I think is curious. I also have watchers on items that have no visits. Quite curious. As I stated in another post, without accurate visit counts relisting is a hit and miss. I do not know if I should reduce prices? Offer free shipping? Or are the visit counts wrong and I should just relist with no changes. Used to be an easy decision with the old system.

I have seen some eBayers say this is not so, however, I sell 100s of rare items THAT HAVE STOPPED selling after the change. I also noticed that the suggested promotion has risen from 4% to 7 - 8%. I am not biting on that. I have another job, so I will wait it out.

The views now show actual people viewing our items. Before the changes viewing count showed views by BOTS which was why sometimes as soon as you listed your item it would have quite a count almost immediately.

Were we selling to BOTS too?? Being that not only the views have disappeared, but also the buyers at the same time.

Apparently it's eBay changing the views so that bots don't count anymore. It's a terrible idea and another change that was not needed and makes things worse for sellers. Not to mention the slow sales immediately following which I see is happening to quite a few people. They constantly try to change things and improve the site while in reality making things worse and pushing people away.

Another fantastic change for the worse! Pretty sure someone will find a way to say it's our fault, you have to adapt, many people are happy, don't whine if you're leaving and blah blah blah.
