The problem is that regardless of the browser....the viewer (buyer) has to jump to the bottom of the screen to see the description. In between the original listing and the description are layers of sponsored ads of other seller's items.

Thank you everyone for bringing this to our attention. We have passed this along.

Thank you. I hope they fix this soon. If customers can't see the item details they are less likely to make a purchase!

How does one open a ticket? i went to report technical issues and there si no where to post - just summary of the thread. Thanks.

Same. I see 'about this item ' and then - gone. Does ebay think this is not a problem? Sort of trying to use the pc without the screen part. Like- uh, the the description is not negotiable.

The solution is not on us to run circles around ebay's dysfunction. It's their JOB to fix this.

Well I guess they can subsist on ad revenue then. Maybe ebay and adblock should sit down at the table sometime soon. I think they're creating havoc just so we'll comply to more ads being shoved down our throats. YT is now unbearable.

It is eBay's job or Ad Block Plus's job to fix problems with those services. Of course. No one is saying otherwise.
While you are waiting for those folks to do their jobs, you can temporarily disable your Ad Block Plus add-on to view item descriptions, though. If that matters to you.
Or use a different ad blocker to continue blocking ads and still see descriptions.

If it were important enough to ebay, it would have been fixed 3 days ago. We both know that.

@unny860 I think eBay has to do that, not us.
elizabeth@ebay How does a ticket get opened Elizabeth? A bit more info too, at first it seemed like it was only Chrome, but there have been many reports of it affecting buyers on Edge & FF too. Adblock seems to be the constant. Also reading that it's on mulitple worldwide sites, not just US. This is a HUGE problem, the majority of users cannot see the IS's or Descriptions, how do we get a ticket open & ensure it's high priority. Hard for people to buy if they can't see any descriptions!

Not the issue that we are dealing with here. The issue here is that it is not there at all.

likely important to eBay.
Would seem that missing descriptions and item specifics has caused a reduction in sales🤔
