Getting the same message. Can't buy anything and nothing is selling. Grrrr.....

Hi I am getting the message, for the last 3 days, server down...it's not you it's us.
I am trying to return an item. My return has been accepted by the seller but I cannot get as far as printing a label off. It comes on screen but within a second the label printing option disappears.
I cannot contact the seller direct as they no longer have an association with EBay
for whatever reason!
I have tried ringing Ebay but cannot get through.
A real pain. Not happy!!!!

Yep, has been happening for a week now and seems to be getting worse. Its virtually impossible to run or edit a promotion. Its the same across all of my devices. ebay has been failing to properly address bugs or properly test software releases for the last 5 or so years, and it only seems to be getting worse. Such a shame as it used to be a fun place for buyers and sellers, but now just leaves everyone feeling frustrated.

I see you are registered in the UK -- you might want to sign out of ebay.com and sign back in to ebay.co.uk instead. Make sure you are not using an old bookmark or link. If you are still having issues, try posting on the ebay.co.uk discussion boards in case the problem is related to your particular site.

With great emphasis on "....or so....". It's been at least 5 years and from what I've experienced, closer to TEN! They just don't give a **bleep** about anything but collecting revenue, and they're too frickin' STUPID to KNOW that when their site is JACKED-UP, THEY MAKE NOTHING! You can't do hardly ANYTHING anymore without seeing their stupid "Ooops" messages. They've got the most buggy screwed-up JavaScript in internet history. I also always get these "Waiting on gha.ebay.com" and "Establishing secure connection......" messages that prevent page loads. Obviously their (so-called) "webmasters" don't have a frickin' CLUE as to WTH they are doing!

Yeah, fair point, I was going to say 10 years, but the last 5 have really seen the bug count grow exponentially. There are days when I literally cannot list anything for sale due to the sheer number of obstacles they have introduced into their code - it is literally only the sheer determination of sellers and buyers to find a way through the noise that makes Ebug any revenue, but if there really were a viable alternative, Ebug would be sunk within 6 months - it is just the fact they have been around so long and have so many people who are wedded to their platform that keeps them just about going. I have worked with software and software releases for years, and I would be seriously ashamed, embarrassed, and very fired for putting out anything like the trash these guys do. Exasperated is not the word.

Indeed, well said.

Interestingly I just tried to buy something and that took me 3 attempts due to error messages, so if that's the normal experience a buyer has then what chance to we have of selling anything - I only persevered as I was trying to use my "free monthly packaging" voucher. I feel we're reaching the point where the platform is no longer fit for purpose and it's reputation as a bug ridden mess will never be shed even if it were to resolve the thousands upon thousands of bugs it refuses to admit exist let alone will invest in the programming skills it needs to properly resolve them.

I am currently seeing this error message whilst trying to add payment details to finalise my first item listing. I am using an IPhone XR so I guess the issue has something to do with the device used . I will try again on my computer and hopefully have access to the draft created on my phone .

I see you are registered in the UK. You should probably sign out of the US ebay.com site and sign back in to ebay.co.uk instead.
If you are having difficulties listing items on the UK site, you may want to check with the UK discussion boards:
