Inconsistent Payments are a menace

Hello, Ive been an ebay seller for 2 years. I need one of these ebay blues to change this because its the hardest part of selling!! Everything else is super fast and easy when i sell but theres never even a consistent payment time so I can plan ahead its either fast or 4 entire days of no payment.

Figure everything takes 4 working days and you'll be just fine.

Sell on Monday; processes and deposits in your bank by Friday (usually Weds. or Thurs.)

Sell on Tuesday, processes and deposits in your bank by Monday (usually Thurs or Fri)

etc.

Nothing can change this.

Inconsistent Payments are a menace

I've been in Managed Payments since August, 2019. Back then, Payouts truly were inconsistent, and varied in length depending on the payment method used by the buyer.

Since early this Spring, I find that my buyer's payment (every method) is my bank deposit in 3 working days, consistently.

Since MP controls our money.  Each seller should do their homework and learn about this system BEFORE they go into the system.  There are none so important to know and understand as this one.

Start with tracking your MP account.  You should be regularly reviewing what is going on in your MP account.  You can do that by going to your Seller Hub.  The hover over the Payment tab.  From the drop down menu select Summary.  On this page you will see a summary of your account.  Amount available, amount pending, amount on hold, the date and amount of the last Payout sent and the date and amount for your next payout.

The following links are very informative and easy to read. Lots of great information in these articles that contain information you should be aware of. After you read them you will likely have questions. Come on back and ask whatever you need to.

Yes, I'm aware, but thank you.  But none of us knew this until yesterday when the Blues confirmed this was a change and not a glitch.

With that said, keep in mind that the weekend payouts going into a Queue for the ACH banking system.  Then on Monday morning when they open [unless it is a holiday], they start processing the Payouts to their respective banks.

On the Payout screen in the Seller Hub.  When a Bank Reference number is assigned, the ACH system has the deposit and it is on its way to your bank.
