I paid $18.95 CASH for the shipping from my own money.

Yes exactly, I offered a free shipping and I paid for it as a seller. But Why to subtract it from my order while I payed it cash even before I received the payment from eBay. So it’s like I paid twice for it. One time I went to the post office and paid for it the second day eBay subtract a shipping fee even the item was already dispatched to the buyer?! How is that working!

@mummy.of.four,

You're right about this. If you took the package to the post office and paid for shipping there, then eBay would not charge you for another label online. Presuming that you didn't start to purchase a label through eBay, then that is not what happened here.

It's probably because of this:

Yes, but eBay takes the money for the refund from your available funds (that are ready for payout from previous transactions), not from the pending funds the second buyer sent you. It all evens out when the cancelled transaction is completely finished, but until then, the seller has to front the money for the refund.

FYI, you are listing on eBay Australia, so you can buy shipping labels through eBay, from Australia shipping services like the post office. Here's a link to the help page on eBay Australia about how to do it:

Re: EBay sent me the wrong payment !

'Free Shipping' means that YOU PAY for the shipping; which you could have done OUT Of the 'profit' from that sale (probably did)

How much was the shipping?

Re: EBay sent me the wrong payment !

Did you have anything sell after that item?

If you did, any fee's would be taken out of the avaliable funds before sending to you.

Have a great day.

"Note that I payed for the shipping from my own money ! "

Of course you did, when a seller offers free shipping to the buyer, the seller pays the shipping fee.So your $18.95 shipping fee was subtracted from your order earnings.

@mummy.of.four

ck on the "details' of the "payout" to see what was included.

each sale is not an "individual" payout.

payouts are based on running transactions

Re: EBay sent me the wrong payment !

they didn't subtract a shipping fee unless you purchased a label thru them.

Re: EBay sent me the wrong payment !

yes you are right. And I believe that I can’t buy a label if I am outside America, I think it’s just available to US sellers. I am in Australia !

Yep that is how it works when you offer free shipping. The $18.95 got deducted from your order earnings
