I updated my email address on my eBay account a long time ago and the email address you have in my settings Account Info is correct.However all emails are still be sent to my old email address why is this?

Retract a Bid

I currently have a bid placed on a chair, I have found a different chair for a lower price and no longer need to buy the other one. Can this be retracted? Or do I have to delete my account?
