Resolved! Update to app

Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

How can I stop being bombarded with emails. It says I need to switch them off using communication preferences but this option is no where to be found on the ebay app - any help would be appreciated, thanks
