EBay not sending notifications

For the last few weeks I’ve not been recieving any item ending eBay notifications, I’ve tried turning them off and on again in both the app and IOS settings, tried reinstalling the app and updating. Still no avail, I’ve missed out on items ending

Can't add extra Description

Is it me l... When you get a bid and the description locks, the app says you can still add ammendments or additional information. But when you try to, you get no keyboard or area to add the additional information too?
