Yesterday I bought two things, seller combine shipping, I did pay everything I buy. Today, my app pop up 1 unpaid item. When I check it there is nothing upaid. I even log in my laptop to see, everything is paid. Why is the app show this "1 unpaid item"? thanks.

I’ve got one stuck in unpaid too. Order was cancelled yesterday and showing cancelled, but the unpaid item message is still there.

Going on 4 months now that the ebay system wonlt let me edit/make changes to my payment methods.
Same deal, ask for screenshots, clearly the app developers aren't qualified.
All of this because of a bogus unpaid item claim in the mobile app.
I've called twice to close my ebay account as it's useless to me now as a seller. Bot htimes I've been told to wait 90 days. What? Wait 90 days? I have to wait 90 days to make changes to my ebay account because of these app develpers?
It's over 90 days now and I still have the problem.

We're going to have to figure out a different course of action to resolve this, the app developers clearly aren't interested in resolving the problem they've created for us.
Speaking only for myself here, my account has effectively ben hijacked by these developers given that their shortcomings and disinterest in resolution has blacked me from even making billing and payment changes to my own account on the web site.
I'm going to go to my banks and card providers and see what they can do to step in and help me out. My payment methods have effectively been taken hostage here, I have no control over them at this point.
If I end up havign to get new cardsw and have a fraud alert on my credit report because of this horse pucky , I'm gonna be ten times as livid as I am right now.

Thank you for your posts and screenshots. We are aware that in some cases older transactions that may have been refunded/canceled are showing up as Pay Now. This is being investigated.

I also have this exact issue on my ebay iphone app saying I have 1 unpaid item when I actually don't. This showed up after I received a full refund on a purchase a couple of weeks ago. It is driving me crazy seeing it there every time I go into the app.
Ebay, have you come up with a solution for this yet? It seems ludicrous that this issue has been around for so long, yet a fix hasn't been released. Please fix this!!! It is doing my head in, and not great for my OCD!

I've been having the same problem for the last few weeks. When using the latest version of the eBay mobile app for iOS, on an iPhone XS running iOS version 12.1.2 (16C101), returned items are randomly appearing in my eBay account as unpaid items. Uninstalling and re-installing the app did not help. I called eBay Customer Support and they referred me to eBay Technical Support, who in turn referred me to call an Application Specialist; but when I called eBay, they told me that they had no application specialists, and did not have a department to deal with problems in the eBay mobile app. They also told me that I was the first person to call about this problem, and that no one else has heard of it. Obviously, they have not read the posts above.

Thanks for reaching out. We are looking into this, in some cases partial refunds or canceled orders may show as unpaid. Thanks again for the report.

This clearly has not been resolved to date, I also believe it’s due to refunds be it partial or full, I’ve had the same issue sine I received a partial refund it’s really annoying!

Thank you for all the examples. We are looking into why some refunded, partial refund, and canceled items are showing as unpaid. If you check your account on the website it should not show an unpaid item.
