I will not make additional purchases from sellers who do not offer feedback. With the new change in the purchase history section, I cannot see if feedback has been left. I DON'T LIKE THIS CHANGE! FIX IT!

I’m sorry this is a community forum consisting of buyers and sellers.
I just noticed the change myself. And see that you need to click on the button at the top to see what orders need you to leave feedback.
Feedback is not required or mandatory, it is voluntary and no one has to leave it. You can see if new feedback has been left for you by looking at your profile.
And since buyers can only receive positive feedback, many sellers chose not to leave any.

I did not know that feedback was for sale.
What will you do with it?

I could see receiving feeback is important if your a new buyer trying to build a reputation, but you have 1593 currently. Why is it necessary at this point that you get upset over it, and not buy from a seller because of it? I only have 453 and could care less if I ever got another one. Buyers can only get positives anyway, so it's really meaningless. I don't understand your point, do you pat yourself on the back as you read them?

I'm not even gonna check who it's from, and I bet my rating is still 100%. Thanks for letting me know, I'll sleep much better tonight now

I'm confused. Are you buying feedback, or are you buying an item? Because if it's the latter and you receive the item safely and as described, why would feedback matter? Buyers can only get positive feedback anyway.

What more could you do with 1 more feedback then you have now?
Buyers feedback doesn't mean much these days since they can only receive positive feedback.

Basically that’s the problem. We used to be able to see if feedback was left, and much more just by looking at the icons on the old purchase history page. Why does eBay insist changing things that are working fine?

Really? You're going to miss out on some great deal that you find over feedback? So if you find something that you really want you're going to decide not to get it based on whether the seller leaves feedback for their buyers.
I don't always get feedback from sellers. I appreciate when they do leave feedback. To me the most important thing is if I'm happy with the item that I bought. That's what the sale is all about: finding and buying something that I really want and being happy with it when I receive it.

Well said. Some of my best purchases were made where i never received feedback from the seller.
And I could not have cared less.
I got my item, the seller was great and all was good... What did I, as a buyer, lose out of the deal because of it?

Reminds me of a time I got a neutral feedback from a buyer. They got the item quickly and was happy with it and everything, but I didn’t message them post sale to see if everything was satisfactory to them. We never needed to talk. The feedback said my communication (or lack of) was horrible because I never followed up. My guess is he would also have an issue with self checkout stations at stores too.

I have been trying for years to pay for my groceries with my FB - no luck, who would have thunk it?
