I also suggest going to your state website and filing a complaint against ebay with the attorney general. Just google file complaint with your state attorney general consumer protection unit and you will see a online form where you can report this. After seeing there are around 20,000 listings on ebay creating this shortage and just fueling more hoarding we have to get on top of this. It appears Italy is investigating ebay right now for this.

They are spelling sanitizer wrong and gouging people. Is Ebay that stupid they don't see what's going on.

Just an example of type your state, then attorney general consumer complaint and you will be there quickly. The California link we all should take a few minutes and file against ebay since they are profiting from this as well.

When I saw that as well. Why isn't ebay taking it down, making sure they can't be part of the ebay community as they are braking the rules set by ebay. But also now with the national wide emergency this needs to stop. How can be so ruthless making such a profit. Why not donate them to families who can't afford them or make them affordable to families who can't afford them. Come on if anyone is buying at these rates then its making them to do it more. Maybe if they see others are not buying they will drop their prices.

It's called the free market, sellers who hoarded toilet paper and made a great profit took a risk, perhaps there would not of been a shortage and they would have all been out $$$.
Haters who are mad they didn't think to do the same thing can kick rocks.
Ebay and amazon banning the sale of items is completely counter intuitive! Now instead of someone overpaying, they won't get the product at all!
And for those saying it's a necessity, it's toilet paper, not insulin.
My mother used cloth diapers and washcloths on my brothers and sisters, so there are alternatives.
For those still confused, read Aesop's tale of "The grasshopper and the ant".

And maybe be prepared next time so you can make some money yourself, and also help those who didn't
prepare if you so desire.

Anyone reading this post it's going to be easy to show these people breaking the law the reality of what they have done.
Go ahead and when you get the item, go to your state's office and file a price gouging complaint. In the report you can provide the sellers' information and contact. Since you paid with payment forms you can include that as well. Once this happens depending on your state (link below) the seller who raised the price of toilet paper or other necessity more than 10-15% of normal price will then be subject to fines and possibly jail time. That's what a state of emergency gets you people who "took risk".

this post and the seller shall be banned for criminal price gouging: https://www.ebay.com/p/21023511532?iid=143190051274&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-...

So what is the suggested alternative? All ebay sellers who sell at a price you don't think is "fair" get banned from selling altogether? Then instead of someone overpaying for the toilet paper, nobody gets it. That doesn't make any sense.

And "fines and jail time" for someone selling toilet paper at a markup on ebay? 🤣😂

Read up on the laws. The state attorney general offices look back 6 months on average prices. 10-15% above normal prices when a state/national emergency is declared is when you have changed the game.
Ebay alone is on the hook as a third party and will pay far more than the few dollars in fees they charge. Those who have their items already in hand have every right to report each of those sellers doing this. The state has no problem making examples out of people who justify they are ok doing this.

price gouging during and after an natural disaster or a national emergency is strictly forbidden by federal law and is subject up to 10k in fines. This was just announced a few days ago since people are hording products and are trying to get rich reselling it at a much higher, Anyone who thinks this is nonsense can look it up.

Can you post a link to an example of an ebayer sent to jail or fined for price gouging? Otherwise I'll chalk this up to hyperbole. You sound like my grandfather telling me that I'm going to prison for torrenting a movie, lol
