Hi Everyone.  Just received a box of "free" shipping supplies.  Did not order - do not have a store. What's Up??  Thank You.

eBay sent out shipping supplies to some sellers to promote the new eBay International Shipping program.

There should have been a postcard in your shipment explaining that. You can learn more about EIS here:

EIS is replacing the Global Shipping Program (GSP).

Well, my sister, who does not and has never had an ebay account, also received the free shipping supplies box with padded envelopes, tape and boxes. And I am a 25 year seller on ebay and did not get it.

Tell me where ebay got her address and why she got the supplies.

Check your account address page. Do you have your sister's info as primary shipping address or registration address @moretreasures4you?

I received  mine this morning.  no explanation card in the box.  Just a blue circle on the outside of the box that read Free Shipping Supplies.  A lot of nice packing options inside.  The only bad thing is that the largest box inside was 6/4/4 or something like that.  I do not think a service for 8 china dinnerware set will fit inside it though😁

Can't believe buyer-exclusive accounts are receiving these supplies. Wonder what eBay's explanation is for that.

I put a ton of work in to helping sellers here with EIS. I even created this beast of an FAQ for sellers (link) which took a crazy amount of hours, and posted updates as the program evolved.

I didn't get those supplies. I have multiple active selling and buying accounts. Yeah, I'm not ashamed to admit feeling a bit stung. 🐝
