Anyone else having issues with the new eBay International Shipping program? We've had quite a number of customer's complain that they submitted one single orders with multiple items in that order and then eBay splits it into multiple orders. The first problem is that now it costs us (seller) more to ship each item to the hub. And secondly, customers are stating that they are being charged for each individual item as a single order but multiple times. For example, I had one customer order 13 items and paid from one cart. He says that he was then charges 13.36 per item for shipping. When I manually checked the combined weight of this single order to ship to Mexico, the cost would be 28.00 for all 13 items but eBay is charging them 13.36 x 13 = 173.68. How in the world is that good for the customer?
I've opted out of the crappy program and now none of our listing show that they can be shipped worldwide. I contacted eBay and they said that the system is still processing the request to remove us from that terribly created program. Never had these issues with the Global Shipping Program. Anyone else having these issues because according to someone on their "leadership" team, they haven't received many complaints about this new program. If you've had an issue, please let me know because I know I am not the only one having these problems.

EIS does not allow combined shipping. Last week at the seller check-in eBay reps said:
"We are aware this is a pain point and are working through if we could potentially offer this in the future."
For now, the only way to get around this is to create a single listing with all items the buyer wants in that one listing.

Yes, you cannot combine shipping of different items on the same order. This was also the case on GSP. If the buyer orders multiples of the same item, then they do combine shipping. They just cannot (yet) for different items. My understanding is they are trying to work through that. I have been on GSP since the beginning and was a big cheerleader of the program in these discussion forums. However, there are other eIS issues concerning categories that aren't offering this while on GSP these categories were fine. If you move the item to a different category that isn't "broken" eIS is offered. Pretty normal for a new feature to have bugs. The category issue today (last 3 weeks) is an example. The combined shipping of different items is not happening but eBay told us this. Thus far, they have ignored all the messages and tickets opened about some categories allowing eIS while other categories will not.

Well it would be nice if eBay would clearly let buyers know this. As it is, it stills lets me request a combined shipping rate from those sellers but doesn't tell me that those sellers don't allow for combined shipping rates until AFTER i send the request at which time you also are committing to purchasing the items in question. That have outrageous combined shipping internationally and my message is usually 'If you can combine shipping, i will purchase these items but if you can't then I won't ...'

Just to be clear, it's not the SELLERS who do not allow combined shipping on those orders.
It's the EIS or GSP.

Oh yeah, we've heard that before from eBay. We just fixed the problem entirely by opting out of that crappy program. We now just ship internationally and insure the packages so we are covered in case they are lost, damaged, or stolen. This should've been an upgrade to GSP and not a downgrade.

I agree, GSP was very good and worked out for us for a long time When I was Invited (forced) into this new GIP, I thought it would be an upgrade but it isn't. eBay has a tendency to introduce upgrades without really thinking of the actual sellers. I've gotten to the point that I fully disclose the issues we have with eBay to our customers so they are fully aware that the costly amounts they are paying are going to eBay and not us. We had one customer who purchased 13 items on a single order but eBay charged them 13.36 per item which totaled about 174.00 in just shipping charges to Mexico. When I checked manually for this location, the shipping costs in total were about 28.00 USD. It's ridiculous!!
