I continue to have USPS Shipping issues. Does anyone else having same issues? Tracking seems to be not updated for several days or the shipment doesn't move for several days. I understand that it is the Christmas season but packages from NJ to Indiana should not take 18 days using first class. I have sent several complaints to USPS and no real help or answers on the issues or problems. I have another shipment from Louisiana to Indiana and it's been 7 days and the shipment is still in Louisiana and has not moved. If other people are having same type issues please feel free to share.

Package mailed Nov 30th, went from MD to Denver Co., got there on Dec 2. On the 6th it got scanned someplace, didn't say exactly where. Did a lost package search to shake the tree. As of today, it is (LOL) sitting in Anchorage Alaska. I live in Portland Oregon. I think Wrong Way Corrigan must have flew it up there. Not a gift so when it gets here, it gets here.

It does happen from time to time where a package doesn't get scanned until or tracking isn't updated for some time. There might be a delay to your destination.

Indianapolis has been backed up for 3 or more weeks as in, that's how long we have been hearing of issues there.

Yup, Indy is trying to become a black hole.

Shipped an ESE off to a person who worked in their local PO. It was marked delivered on 12/5 and actually showed up in their PO on 12/12. Nice!

Yeah, rates are increasing for USPS without a corresponding uptick in service. The 'surge pricing' for holiday shipping started at the beginning of October, and is continuing through the first week in January! Meanwhile, don't count on even Priority Mail making it to its destination within a week, and Ground Select (which has universally replaced First Class for anything not in an envelope) may as well be taped to a migratory critter.

Where you are located and the destination of the shipment make a world of difference.
Always have. Bad management at the local level, can and does affect service in most businesses. Eventually, even USPS gets rid of bad managers.
Just had a misroute at a sorting center which most of my packages go through. This was inbound. They cannot seem to find a route back yet. Only two days so far. It takes just one postal employee's error to create this situation. Obviously, he should not be fired for one mistake.

I currently have 3 ESE shipments that were going to 3 different addresses in Michigan showing as 'Out for Delivery in Toledo, Oh'.
Hope that is just a "Glitch' in the system.

I've had this problem all year long, in the past it was just time of year, or really bad shipping hubs like Chicago, but now it is constant and universal.
Thanks again USPS, you're really earning OUR money.

I mailed a package on the 2nd, took 8 days to go 60 miles, and now it is sitting in Indianapolis. I shipped another priority, it only had to go 20 miles, took 6 days.

Indy is setting the bar quite high.

Out of the 27 packages I have shipped so far in December, I have not seen anything worse than a couple of them arriving 1-2 days after the expected delivery date. I use Ground Advantage exclusively, and I was actually pleasantly surprised because I had one get from DC to Alaska in 6 days!
