Tracking says delivered, but I don't have the items.

I have 4 items go out for delivery on the 28th, the tracking shows all 4 items were delivered at the same time and place. but I only received 2 of the 4 items.

I checked with my family and the people next door and I could not find the 2 packages. I got with the post office any they could not find the two items ether.

I told the two sellers on the 28th and have been keeping them upto date, one said nothing the other offered a 3$ refund for the 15$ item.

At this point what should I do? The two missing items were sent first class and the tracking says delivered.

The sellers are not intirely at fualt but they used the USPS to deliver the itmes and it is there reposabilty to make sure I get the itmes. But I'll never win a non delivery case when the tracking says deliverd and a SNAD would not be right as I have nothing to retrun.

What sould I do at this point?

Well I am not how you can interpert this but it is directly from paypal for the current chargeback I am dealing with.    I would say this would be a question for Paypal since it seems clear in this message they do not intend to give me my funds back if I lose.

PayPal’s Seller Protection program entitles you to retain the full purchase amount and we will waive any related chargeback fees paid (for debit and credit card-funded transactions)

Seller er protection means that your entitled to keep the full amount and they provide seller protection on cc chargebacks.  The wording you're seeknf is the standard wording always giving. You should call and point out you are protected their protection policy and case the case against you closed

Well, I have never lost one as a seller.  This is the first one that I am unsure of because Ebay's GSP is involved.  I would hope you're correct but, I will not get my hopes up.  It seems odd that the status updates would give me this information but, not add that I am covered by the paypal protection.  I guess we will see.

It is up to you to know your Seller Protection at PayPal, then demand it.

For unauthorized transaction, regardless PayPal claim or credit card chargeback, you only need Proof of Shipment, which can be on paper: Proof of delivery is not needed, even.

And for GSP, it's even simpler: You only need proof of shipment to Erlanger KY.

yes it is seller responsibilty to use a delivery service that delivers which the seller has proof he did.Your issue is w the postal service and the carrier who misscanned/misdelivered/lost whatever the package

The items that I underline and changed the font to red is a contradiction of statements - either they were never delivered or they were  "gps tracking days shows that it was delivered in the middle of the street no newer Newark my mail box."   It cannot be both.  

And if you live in Newark, New Jersey and dependent on the items that should have been received, it is a lost cause.  Your best bet is to file a police report for theft or file a report with USPS for misdelivered or missing mail.  Insofar as I know, Newark, New Jersey has never recovered from the '67 riots, which is a shame since it used to be a beautiful city here in Northern New Jersey.  

I think we all have at one point or another had a pkg that was shown as "Delivered" and we never received it.  When it happened to me, I had to file a police report (in accordance to both eBay & PP), but the seller's job was done when it was shown to be "Delivered" regardless if the seller "hired" whatever carrier they choose.  I lost about $18 and had to end up purchasing the item locally.  From that point on, I sent a letter to the postmaster here in Passaic and instructed him to instruct his carriers if no one answers the bell, hold the mail until Saturday for me or my son to go and pick them up.

I will retract what I said about Newark, New Jersey - but I will say this . . . something is not right because the story is not making sense - first thing I learned years back working for the Chapter 13 Trustee of New Jersey - if the story does not make sense, then something is not right.

I don't think Newark has anything to do with this. The reference to Newark, NJ appears to have come from someone's garbled spell-chequer making a nonsense auto-correct in the middle of the sentence. The phrase "no newer Newark my mail box" was probably supposed to read "nowhere near my mailbox."

According to the screenshot of the tracking number posted previously (here), the street address in question appears to be in a small town in Ohio. On the USPS website, that tracking number shows as Delivered to an address in that town, as the poster of that tracking number showed it.

In addition, a ZIP code search for an address number of "121" instead of "1215" on that same street returns an error; there is no such number 121 on that street in that town. Even if there was, Delivery Confirmation only reports delivery to the buyer's City and 5-digit ZIP. Houses at 1215 and 121 (if there was such a place) would share the same 5-digit ZIP; only their +4 extension would differ. An Item Not Received dispute would be found in favor of the seller.

Thank you 🙂 - I think I missed that, I just thought it was Newark, New Jersey.  Mostly nothing good happens in Newark and Paterson, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas.  I know from living near Newark and Paterson.

@hafoster - yep, my son informed me of this yesterday morning 😞  Passaic is slowing but surely catching up with both Paterson and Newark 😞  Oh wait, that could be another one because the Palace always have some sort of fight/shooting/stabbing there.  It is a strip club and if my memory serves me right, a local football player was arrested for fighting there 😞

Between January and up to and including yesterday, I've had the following on my street near my house:  double stabbing from the apt directly across the street from me.  I saw one of the victims jump from the second floor and that had me rattled for months.  In May, I had just nodded off and thought I heard gunshots, but I convinced myself it was just firecrackers.  I called my son and told him to let me know when he was close to the house.  I went to meet him at the door and the police was putting up crime tape - the young man up the street from me (about 4 houses) was shot dead 😞  A nice young man at that and he was not the intended target 😞  Tuesday Clifton PD pulled up with guns drawn and that has rattled me too 😞  Oh and last Friday, some clown knocked out a Clifton Detective near my home.  Since I was here by myself (son was away for the weekend), I made sure that the doors were locked.  

Under normal circumstances, the PD does not show up near my home for car accidents only - now   I am afraid to go to the liquor store after dark 😞  I never really felt unsafe near or in my home, but things are changing rapidly 😞

@hafoster - I had a reply and I do not know what happened to it  - but my little rinky dinky hometown is slowing catching up with Paterson/Newark New Jersey

In January, there was a double stabbing across the street from me 😞  I saw a guy "roll" out the window and that is not normal.  At first, I thought it was a car accident because that is what it sounded like to me.  Both victims jumped/fell or was pushed out the window.  Scared the you know out of me 😞 

In May, I had just nodded off and I thought I heard gunshots - I called my son and told him to call me when he got close to the house because I thought I heard gunshots.  When I went downstairs, the PD was putting up crime tape.  The young man about four (4) houses from me was shot dead 😞  A nice young man and was not the intended target 😞 

Monday night, the Clifton PD pulled up on the corner by me w/his gun drawn.  I just went back in the house 😞   The person in handcuffs had a warrant for his arrest.  Thankfully, there were not shots fired, but it used to be highly unusual for my area.  I live on the borderline of Clifton/Passaic, which was why Clifton PD was so close.  

The Palace incident, I think happened Tuesday evening, my son heard it on the news.  I am not sure if the Palace or the other Gentlemen's Club was the one that was shut down by the City.  One of the area football players got arrested for fighting at one of them.  My sister used to live in Paterson and there was always something going on by her house.  I think sometimes that is why she did not want to live anymore because of her area.  Shootings/Stabbings/Robbery was an everyday thing for her 😞  I miss her so much 😞

Passaic is slowly catching up with both Paterson and Newark.  Passaic used to be a nice quiet city, but no more 😞

Hopefully this one will stick
