I have items that are large and that require alot of packaging that I ship from time to time like Guitar Amps and Cabinets.
I also have items that need tracking and packaging built into the cost of the shipping.
I want to make sure that the buyer pays for packaging and tracking so that they cannot claim that the item is not on its way, shipped without packaging or completely never received it.
With all of the issues with shipping goin on we can't have this site making it so that only we get penalized for the shipping issues.
I have an item that has been posted for sale with that setting but in the phone app and this website the handling cost is completely missing. Even googling a solution has found videos talking about it but no setting is here. Inflation is too high to be screwing people over on stuff like this.
I also got opted into International shipping when I know for a fact I had that disabled. I don't need any scammers trying to play games overseas and its a pretty common occurrence with returns even on Amazon.
I am a 25 year eBay seller. I called in the last time and complained because they play games with the payments on our accounts knowing we have been verified. This is just opening users up to fraud while at the same time they make us jump through hoops for no reason even though we already had to be verified through sales.

Handling fee can only be accessed with calculated shipping. When using flat shipping you just roll it into the ship cost.
When using calc shipping you may need to "un-hide" the setting to get it to appear.
If you use business policies then you add the handling cost on your shipping policy.

I couldn't even see that stuff in the app. It doesn't matter what I set it to.

The top right is Advanced is for the search function. I found an article about the seller hub but I don't see
the advanced business options. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/using-new-listing-tool?id=5196
I know what you are talking about though. I never had a simplified profile before.

I found it! I just created a new listing and it was at the top right of the window on the desktop version.
Thanks for the help!

I was able to quickly re-configure my new listings on the desktop once it was switched to advanced. I just need to test it under the Android app. I already lost money because of the change but at least I was able to fix the other listings.

My laptop died so I had to make due until could get to a desktop. In the previous app I was able to make those changes upfront. It should never make advanced mode so hard to find. It should ask you for every new item which mode you want to configure the item in. That is a feature request.

OK great, glad you found it.
You're talking about checking on the app, but your above screenshot looks like it might be from mobile web, not the app. Either that or it's the simplified listing tool on classic web. Hard to tell since it's cropped.
