Hi, so I ordered a 6-pack of storage bins from a seller. Instead the seller drop-shipped a cheap audio converter to me. I messaged the seller explaining that I DID NOT order the item he sent me. He tried to get me to keep the audio converter and not ask for a refund. I said NO. Finally, I had to open a return request through ebay. Ebay approved of the return, but the return address the seller has on file is fraudulent. It is a mix of an American city and a Canadian city. Even the seller's name is fake.
Now, I have no way of returning an item to a place that does NOT exist. What can I do? I have tried to contact ebay and paypal but their resolution centers do not have a category for this type of fraud. After reviewing the seller's feedback apparently the seller is doing this a lot.

All you can do is return the item to the sellers address on file. Ebay considers an attempted return as a return. If you are reluctant to do that, contact Ebay on Facebook, use the message link.

Return the item to the address on the return label. If the address doesn't exist and it doesn't get there, that's not your fault. Your responsibility is to ship it to the address provided to you.

You can ask for a call back from eBay concerning returns at the bottom of this page.
Depending on the time of day, wait times aren't to bad.

Who cares what is his shipping address. You open a case in the resolution center and then either eBay or the seller will provide a return shipping label and you drop it off at the post office. Once USPS scans it, it is no longer your problem.

I tried that but post office won't accept it.

Contact eBay via one of the ways mentioned in previous comments on this post. Document inside of the return case and in eBay message to the seller that you are unable to return because the return address is not valid.

Put it in the drop and walk away. No one is going to chase you down and beg you to take it back.

Before buying the item, why didn't you check the seller's feedback? You took the gamble and lost.
As a buyer I always check feedback comments and ratings before buying. That's what it is there for.
