Open case holding up PayPal transactions

So i bought some motorcycle decals from this Guy, but I havent recived them. So i opened a case, we agreed on that i wait a noter week.. He now asks me if i could close the case while i wait because it houlds up his PayPal transactions.. Is that possible?

Do NOT close the case. Yes, the funds from your purchase are on hold in paypal, but it doesn't affect the rest of his money at all. Sounds like he is trying to trick you, or doesn't know what he's talking about. Is he a new seller? If he is, his funds will be on hold anyway, until his packages show delivered.

Okay. No he's not new, member since 2017.
That was my thought too. Couldnt quite understand why this should affect his other transactions.

Did the seller provide tracking? If so, what does it show?

Some sellers tend to offer to send replacements, refunds etc IF you will close the case; don't fall for it.

No he did not.. I already asked for a tracking number but didnt get any. Even that it says in the description that there will be given one.

No, don't close the case, they are just stalling.

If you close the case, that'll be the end of it on Ebay.

Go back to the case and ask Ebay to step in if it's been longer then 4 days.
