Ok, its just past the time when my local Post office Closes, and I had just missed it.
I have been selling for some time, and had never had this problem before. I had my shipping label printed and paid for, the package was ready to ship. I had planned on going to the post office on my way home, but due to some craziness, I had to work later. Now, It's after 5pm (my post office closes at 5), I have a package ready to ship, yet no post office to deliver to. Is there any way I can still get it delivered, or refund my packaging slip, and try again for tomorrow? If I have to buy another slip, I will be at a loss for the item, as it will now cost me more to ship the item than I had gotten in selling it!
I dunno what to do here! I am puling my hair out for answers, Finding nothing on either eBay or on the USPS site!

You can void the label.
Go to My Ebay > Selling > Orders > Shipping Labels > find the label in question and to the far right > Void

You can take it to the P.O. tomorrow or schedule a pickup. Make sure someone is home if you schedule a pick up.

Personally, I'd just ship it tomorrow. Some post offices may notice, but I've shipped many items the next day when I've forgotten to change it on the label. No one ever noticed.

Well, I have voided the label, it says its pending. Is there anyway to reprint the label with tomorrow's date? I managed to find a thing that says "you can re-print a label within 24 hours." I initially went to reprint it, yet the preview still showed today's date, is there anyway to reprint the label with tomorrow's date, or do I have to wait for the USPS to refund the initial label?

Drop it in the collection bin.

"Well, I have voided the label"
Not smart.

Oh, so is there a way to reverse the void? it still says pending. If I print another in the 24 hours, will it still void it?

You probably would have been OK shipping that package with an out of date label - some postal clerks make an issue out of it - some seem to care less.
I believe "pending" means it will take a couple of days for the funds from the voided label to be returned to your account.
You should now be able to print a whole new label with the correct shipping date.

Whenever you void a label, it takes about 2 weeks to issue the refund. That's why you are seeing pending. They want to make sure it's not in the mailstream.
If you mail it now, you won't get your refund on that label. You can purchase another label for the order and date it tomorrow if you want and continue with the void (pending). You could likely still mail the label as is without having to buy a new one.

I never would have voided that label. Next time, just drop it off the next day and leave.

Since you already Voided that label, you have 2 options.
Ship the package with the original label. You will not be refunded once the label is used.
Use the option to PRINT ANOTHER LABEL. You can change the date and you will have a new tracking number.

I ended up doing the latter, I ended up buying another label, with a new number. The buyer was Ok with it being a day late.
What sucks is I only have $0.69 in my PayPal account after all this, and eBay charged me $1.59 as a final value fee for a $3.00 item! Oh, and they still haven't deducted the FvF yet, so I will owe eBay $ 0.90 in 2 days!
I sell a $3.00 item, and I end up with -$0.90 to show for it!
I am **bleep** off at eBay right now. I am pulling all my current items for sale. This isn't the First time I've been ripped off by eBay either! I think I am done using eBay to sell.

I have always used the default date ebay sets and have packaged up orders friday, saturday, sunday etc and dropped them in the bin on monday. Never had any issues. Never even considered that to be a problem. To be honest I have never even looked at the date on the label before lol. I'm guessing the date on the label is the date the label was printed.
I print a lot of labels after 3pm daily then drop them off the next day. Hundreds of packages like that never any issues. Never changed any dates.
But I dont take them to a teller, just drop in the bins on the wall. Dont want to wait an hour every day at the post office.
