Ebay shipping needs to add Priority Cubic for discontinued Regional rate

USPS website says it is discontinuing Priority Regional Rate A,B boxes Jan 22,2023..Bummer..Ebay has already discontiued 4 days early.. USPS suggests Priority Cubic mail as an alternative..Why is ebay not offering this option?

Seems that is in the works.

Hopefully for those that need it they may be able to get it done soon after the USPS "cubic rates" go into effect.

Does not seem they could offer it before it happens.

(Pirate ship already has a deal with USPS, so they are able to offer it)

Discontinuing Regional Rate is catastrophic for us. We offer free shipping and the shipping costs are built into our prices based on RR. It would take weeks to go back and adjust rates. eBay really needs to provide a way where we can offer free shipping, but have the selling price vary based on national shipping zones. 

I don't blame eBay for the discontinuation of RR obviously, the not having cubic rate support immediately (especially since eBay knew this was coming and since Cubic Rate pricing has been around for years) is inexcusable. When I called Concierge Support, they told me that tons of sellers are in a panic about what to do now.

EBAY needs to offer same flat rate as POSHMARK up to a certain amountI

I believe sellers are getting lowball offers due to outrageous USPS shipping costs!

They need to step up and do something for buyers as well as sellers as they do NOTHING in that area!

Sellers would definitely reap more sales if  EBAY stepped up to the plate with their competition

EBAY not stepping up to the plate to compete with other selling sites such as POSHMARK is catostrophic in itself.!!

I don't need a plan that costs my buyers more for shipping of my lightweight items by implementing a "flat rate" plan.

I use them a lot. Go make a free account and play around with a rate quote.

Since you have free shipping and have made the prices designed for regional rates, what's stopping you from integrating your eBay account with pirate ship and purchasing cubic shipping that way?

They are the same as eBay.

BUT there is an important extra. Unlike eBay and the post office that only keep tracking information for 90 days, Pirateship downloads that information to their own servers. I can bring up proof of delivery of EVERY shipment I have made going back to my very first shipment years ago.

While it may never happen to you it has happened to me. It provides you with protection if a claim is filed after 90 days. As in a charge back through a credit card that could show up as much as 5-6 months later. (I never ordered this - or - I never received this)

Absent the proof of delivery you automatically lose. BUT with pirateship you have that proof. I have successfully defeated several charge backs that way.
