Ebay Package Tracking Not Updating With Fedex's Tracking Updates.

Hello, I shipped out a package with Fedex (I used my own label) and Ebay Isn't Updating past "Tracking number provided". It currently has two updates on the Fedex Website. Is this a glitch or should I be concerned and contact EBay when I can?

No...I get packages from FedEx all the time...usually takes a day or two for tracking to begin.

I love my seller who uses FedEx...they are rather great.

You can go into FedEx website and enter email address to get updates for free.

I am the seller, I do get the updates from Fedex, I just want to make sure Ebay will know when it's delivered to release the funds to me from the sale.

If you haven't made any sales in 30 days there is usually a hold for 30 days.

A seller needs to made sales every month so these 'holds' don't happen sometimes.

Tracking has nothing to do with 'release the funds'.

You made a sale on August 7th?...first in 30 days?....expect it to be released on September 7th.

If you got that already then I wouldn't worry about tracking for this recent sale which would get release at the same time.

Well I'm more so talking about Ebay knowing if the package is delivered. It's only day one of it being shipped but normally Ebay updates along the same time when the tracking link has updates too.

Again, I buy from a seller using FedEx without out any problems.

The tracking does not show up on day one or day two.

On a weekend...mailed on a weekend it will be longer...there will be no tracking if item is shipped after 5PM Friday...might get tracking tomorrow or later...but not on Saturday-Sunday.

Hey @chriku441967 - when did you ship? It can sometimes take 24 hours for tracking scans to populate from carrier to eBay.

Also, check to make sure there are no typos in the tracking entered on eBay.

Id contact eBay on facebook and let them know your tracking is frozen.

They typically fix it for me and all the updates flood in.

I actually run into this issue a few times when it sits on that message.

I'm not sure why it happens but it just freezes up. Have to get eBay to fix it.

Once they fix it my late defects are all removed too after a day.

I've run into it, as well - but I always wait at least 24 hours because often times tracking will come in on its own. If it's been a couple days, then I'll let CS know it's not updating.

I sent it out today. There can't be a typo because clicking the tracking number on ebay directs me to the correct tracking website on fedex.

Yes -NEW PROBLEM

Same problem here * ebay shows ONLY Package Info sent to FedEx.... ebay un aware of issue and/or technical problem.....

Scanned & Dropped off at ( Walgreen's ) FedEx drop off. Usually FedEx Track# is shown at my seller hub "Paid and Shipped" Package dropped at Walgreen's. Walgreen's clerk scanned label & MAYBE it didn't load to FedEx ? No further up dates from FedEx on pick up of package nor movement and/or transit of package.

Called FedEx ASK FOR Technical  Support with Issue for a human being to talk to.....

* FedEx stated package is in their possession & will be delivered  in 2-3 days

Cross your fingers & hope package will be DELIVERED

Walgreens are horrible drop off.

Did you ask for a receipt ?

Always ask for a receipt because a receipt means it was sent over.

I've told them 'no it's fine I don't need a receipt' and they didnt finalize it and never got recorded.

Always ask for a receipt.
