How secure is that box? Maybe someone reached in there and stole your package.

Maybe not received, but does tracking show it anywhere in the system? Sometimes po fails to scan right away. Go to the usps website and enter  the tracking number. It's probably fine. I have never had usps lose a package or failed to deliver.

You just dropped the mail off without getting a scan receipt? I never just drop off packages without getting them scanned.

Because if I don't, I get a defect for Tracking uploaded on time and validated and late shipping because the items aren't scanned within the handling time specified in the listing.

What shipping method were you using? If it was eBay Standard Envelope, those do not get Acceptance scans as they do not have tracking barcodes. Instead they use routing codes, which are only read by sorting machines at sort facilities along the way. It may just be that no sorting machine has seen the shipment label yet.

As others have posted, it is always a good idea to get a scan from the counter if possible. If your post office offers a bin that is accessible to others, i would suggest not putting it in there unless you know it is secure. If the post office counter is closed and you are dropping it off in the drop box (secured pull door), i would suggest using the Kiosk to scan even though it is not the same as a counter/courier scan.

This had happened to me years ago a couple of times until i realized it was not safe. One time the package was lost and never found and the other time it took a few days for the tracking to show. You can always set up a USPS pickup for the next day where your courier should be able to scan when they pick up your items. (not always)

If I use a local dropbox, the first scan of a tracked shipment does not occur until it reaches the first sorting center, and a phony origin scan is generated 15 minutes before the sorting center scan. Sometimes there is no scan until a later sorting center.

If I use ESE it is impossible to tell when or if my shipment will be scanned. I no longer use ESE.

I do not visit the PO unless it is a BIG ticket sale, preferring to risk the drop box or scheduled pickup.

Most important.

If the customer is not complaining, do not  do anything to indicate your concerns.

Most people are honest, but some are tempted.

What is the last estimated date for arrival?

Right; it's what USPS calls a "Provisional" scan, but eBay does accept that as proof of mailing. (Ironically, the USPS does not accept it as proof of mailing, at least not for insurance purposes, as you could theoretically scan it and then take it home again.)

However, that whole process only works for tracking barcodes (such as on Media Mail, Ground Advantage or Priority packages). The kiosk cannot scan a routing code on an eBay Standard Envelope, nor can a carrier (or the PO's Front Desk). The OP shows recent sales with eBay Standard Envelope, so he may be looking for data on the progress of the package that he is not going to find (yet).

I think this may be the best advice on how to deal with your customers once YOU notice this. Many times you see posts where sellers will reach out to the buyers and that can lead to shenanigans. There is no reason to reach out to the customer yet.

Looks like it was a $90 item, so not ESE.

Have a great day.

I don't think so; the $90 sale was yesterday, but the OP is complaining about a sale shipped last Monday, the 26th, which I assume was 326245246647 from the previous day, and which showed eBay Standard Envelope as the shipping method. Several other coins are listed with the same method.
