How to get USPS to Locate a Package for Sent to an Old Address

I recently sold a card and unfortunately ebay likes bury changing the ship from address deep in the menus and I realized that a recent shipment I sent was returned to the Seller me, but at my old address. My hope is that whoever lives there says No Longer Lives here on it and it gets forwarded to me where I currently live. However, I may wind up refunding the customer because they won't get their item if the person who lives at my old place just keeps it for themselves. Any advice? I can't put an inquiry yet on the tracking number for a few more days still.

If it hasn't been delivered yet you could call the post office to put a forwarding address on it.

For the future:

Go to your address page and update as needed.

Note that when you create your first label after your address update you may still need to edit the Return Address on the create label page. The option is on the right side of the create label page. Click on EDIT below your "Ship from / Return to" address. Once changed it sticks till you change it again.
