This morning, there were at least four threads by posters who were misdirected from ebay.co.uk. Still. This issue has been reported as early as FEBRUARY OF 2019. Note that the thread linked below had numerous responses from an eBay Community Team Member; however, comments/complaints ran through AUGUST OF 2019, when those participating finally gave up.
co.uk Help Pages links to .com Community
The problem was brought up again in JULY OF 2020, but no one from the community team could be bothered to answer, even though one member was tagged in the thread.
I'd be more than happy to tag each of you when these UK members post on the .com boards if that would help get the problem resolved.

@pburn They are redirected OFTEN to the M2M board. Last time we figured it out it was due to the app. When a UK member accesses the community on their app they get redirected to the US community. I doubt that app flaw was ever fixed.
It happens so often I finally bookmarked the UK help page, their community and UK FB page.

I try to catch as many as I can on the Selling board, and post a brief explanation, along with why it might be important for them to get advice from the UK members (and the link to the UK discussion boards, of course). Both the UK and the EU have certain consumer protections that we do not have in the US. (Last I checked, the UK will have to comply with EU regulations until December 31, but I should probably take another look at that.)
I know US members are anxious to answer questions from UK members, but it's really not the very best policy to do so. Sometimes we'll have a UK member pop in and respond to something, which is great, but US members should just realize their answers may not be accurate for other eBay platforms.
It just needs to be fixed. Period.
If one of the community team gets my name for the Christmas exchange, that's what I want. 🤶🎅

@pburn I would take a fix to this and the other glitches while we are making a Christmas wish list.
I don't answer the UK posts unless I am sure of the policy AND I link their policy pages too, otherwise, I just give them my links
I know that you already are aware of these links but just sharing them for anyone that isn't. Especially the FB one, they are having just as hard a time getting CS there too.

Check out their "ask an expert seller" Click on ask an expert seller and you get a pop up where an expert seller will email you back. I do NOT want that format here!

Actually, SEPTEMBER of 2018!! Sorry but I had to add in that info to help emphasize your point. Message 5 on the first linked thread shows some older reports of this dating back to Fall 2018, more than 2 years ago.

brittanie@ebay I don't know if you saw my post #2 > several of the mentors did a bit of detective work and determined that the problem was mainly due to the APP causing re-directs to the US site.

@comics-scifi-collectibles I did see your post and it does look like that is the entry point that is causing the problem. Sheila is assisting me in chasing this with the correct team that owns this particular feature. We just don't have further information on what it's going to take to fix or the time involved at this point.

Hi all,
Just wanted to drop a note to let you know that I found the appropriate contact who will be able to help fix this. I don't have a priority level yet, but I'll post an update, next Wednesday in the platform issues post.

Sheila- great to see your post on the status updates thread that said this issue was resolved. Thanks for your efforts.
