Lately, there have been numerous posts from UK buyers and sellers on the .com boards (more than usual).
They are following links to "Ask the Community" from the help pages when logged into co.uk ... And ending up here.
I think that you and your UK counterpart need to look into this.
Although the sites are close enough to be cousins, they are not twins .... .com responders, for the most part, are going to give answers and suggestions based on .com rules (and shipping, etc), not .co.uk rules, which may result in bad information being passed along. (And not a small bit of confusion)

It gets really confusing when the post is from a UK seller about shipping 😞
A new seller posted in Member-to-Member the other day ... it took me quite a while to figure out that 1) They were shipping Royal Mail and 2) that Royal Mail 2nd Class Parcel Service doesn't have Tracking (only Delivery Confirmation).
A seller on .co.uk could have answered them much quicker and with more detail than I could... They would have recognized the receipt faster for darn sure ... some (not all) .com responders wouldn't think to even research DC for RM 2nd Class Parcel (there is no USPS equivalent)
I see it quite often on the Shipping Board ... responders (including myself) tell people to use FCP or Priority ... And give them rates and exclusions ... when the OP isn't in the U.S.
😞

I reported this before but it's still happening.

This must be one of the recent examples you were talking about with shipping.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Canadian boards are the same. That is really weird they would reroute people back here. Maybe it is because this is the updated and most modern-looking eBay Community out of all of them. The other ones like co.uk, .ca, .com.au, etc still have the old communities, so they could think people will be able to navigate this one easier. Still, they should not do that for something on shipping - that is really bad. They should put a banner at the top of the post: "THIS ONLY APPLIES TO US SELLERS."
Hope this gets fixed soon. 🙂
eBay.ca Canada got the new community like eBay.com USA last year in January 2018. Got some improvements over these boards from member requests. Browser spellcheck right away, not 5+ years requesting like USA. No Silly ranking like Rockstar, all are Community members. Still have badges. Got the edit time changed from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Plus some cleanup of very dead groups. Nice changes. Here is the topic asking about feedback and the amazing help to fix some things from our community eBay staff member. Listened and changed things when possible in the first few days of the new forums.

The ebay staff members monitoring the Canada forums have been great. Best community support in years!

@penguins_dont_fly, I will take a look into this and see if there were any recent changes.

@pocomocomputing The CA team is awesome, and Tyler from our team helps there as well.

I’ve reached out to the UK Community team and the global Help team and they are looking into this.

doug@ebay-this isn't a recent change. Check out the dates from the threads I linked in post #5. This has been an ongoing issue for a long time.

I'm posting a recent example in case the people investigating need to contact members to find out which UK pages are directing them to the US community.
