Thank you for helping us catch those bugs! While we did work hard to make sure we caught any issues before we released the new changes to the Community, there might be some issues that we didn’t catch. If you find any issues, please post them only here. The Community team will be actively monitoring this post and we’ll work as fast as we can to get them resolved. No need to @ mention us, if you post here.
Be sure to include links to the pages, screenshots, which browser you’re using and other relevant information you can share.
Update as of 03/05: Thanks for your feedback! I'll be tracking updates here.

@nocoolnamejane wrote:Also, I gotta ask, why would anyone want to share a post from the eBay community boards to their social media? This isn’t r/dankmemes. And why is the share button so BIG?
I wish we could turn off Share Post in our profile settings the same way we can turn off Quick Reply in profile settings.

I agree- with the pinned posts showing on every page and no page numbers at the top it's much harder to see that you're not on the first page of posts. Very annoying.

I'd prefer to hover.
I don't need to constantly read "we've moved this thread...."
I agree- I prefer the text and definitely the photos to be hidden, then hovering over the title for preview text. This will allow many more posts visible per page.
With the text preview I find myself scrolling down to view titles then ending up at the bottom of the page and not clicking on anything- having no clue what titles I just read because it's not a tight list- it's all white space.
I get that eBay wants to mimic the redesign of ebayinc.com with this- but why not a profile setting that turns OFF the post previews and gives us the tight list of titles with the hover preview option that we used to have? And please restore the light gray background within threads for each post. sheila@ebay
Those of you saying eBay says you're too old and that's why the glaring white bothers you- I have young millennial eyes and can't take it. I shared the forum link with a friend that's 22 without telling her any of my thoughts- I just asked her what she thought of the design on a computer- she said, sorry but she doesn't want to browse around because all the white is blinding. Then I asked her if she could look on her phone instead since her phone is practically glued to her face. She said it requires much more scrolling than other sites and it's off-putting.

I wish we could turn off Share Post in our profile settings the same way we can turn off Quick Reply in profile settings.
If you have an ad blocker installed, see if it has a "Block social media icons" option -- that will eliminate the "Share post" button (and many other things like that).
If you do not want to block all social media links, you can try this custom filter rule:
ommunity.ebay.com##.lia-button.lia-button-secondary.lia-js-add-this-widget.addthis_button

@ mentions- no longer pulls up the ID of the poster you’re replying to as the first option. Instead it pulls up- the OP, the poster with the most helpful votes on the thread, and the last 3 posters.
It omits the person you’re replying to unless they’re one of the last 3 posters, the poster with the most helpful votes, or the OP.

Is there some cheat sheet available that gives me 8th grade reading level directions on how this debacle works? Took me hours to figure out to click on the chess piece-looking thingy to sign in, my ebay banner is gone...had to click on one of the humungous blocks like seller center to get to my selling account, and maybe I am just stupid? cannot see who replied to what? I need a cheat sheet to figure out what does what here. And why on the right side does it have the seller update from 2017? I also went to my profile here to look at helpfuls and the first item was dated 2/27/21, yet the helpful was from 2019? Great way to destroy an easy to manage community board.

Better time would be spent fixing the Item Specifics from the debacle of October 2019.

And the ebay community asked for this and we, ebay, answered. lolol.

Now I have to make a note of where I left off when reading the posts in this thread(note to self 263), so that I can find where I left off😋
(Then make another note to self) Why am I bothering to come back?(to the community)
(Another note to self) I sometimes learn useful things here.

Thanks for the shot of the "replies". Not finding my posts (replies) was an annoyance for me. Old & slow. When I can take a quick look at that it sometimes helps me to know when I have already responded in a thread. (not this one 😊 I know I've been here)
Now if we could just get the most recent "posted to" threads bumped back up top, and start back where we left off, life would almost be good.

Did I kill the thread. Last posted nearly 3 hours ago, and no new posts to read after going to do something productive for a bit.
Has it been bashed, and hashed to the point that it has "all been said"? 😁😄😎

Waiting for the community update list, that is supposed to come tomorrow, before I add on complaints. 😉

Hey thanks coffeebean! That is very helpful indeed! I've bookmarked it.

@buyselljack2016 I got my headache from it early today so took a good long break. Now I find I only get on for a few minutes at a time, there are quite a few changes that just don't let it "flow" like it did before ... obviously USERS are not doing any programming ... here's my next issue. I asked a while ago to have the country of each OP shown ... but instead of giving us really valuable info (to save us from having to click the OP's ID to make sure they aren't from Sri Lanka) they have things junked up like the stickers and decals on a NASCAR race car ... (pic below) it is WAY TOO BUSY, too many text sizes ..

I asked Jeff and then Alan about the showing country and they both said no. I didn’t bother this time. It would certainly make it easier to know which country, so they could be answered correctly quicker.
