This has been a huge pain for almost a year and I'm finally getting around to reporting it.
When you reply to a post and click the camera icon, you can insert a photo and you have the option to choose an image from your saved photos.
The problem is that it only shows your 50 most recent saved photos and there is no functionality to see more or to view another page of results. I can't figure out a way to pull in an image past my most recent 50.
I use a lot of the same screenshots showing where to access features on the site to help posters so I keep having to either delete recent pics or re-upload the same screenshots which creates duplicate pics in my photo album and makes the problem worse. It's a giant pain in the behind.
I'd really appreciate if you could get this fixed by Khoros sheila@ebay. Would be great to add pagination or a see more option that loads more pics.

What browser are you using?
Using Firefox I can see all of my 1000+ images by using my mouse scroll wheel, or by using the scroll bar, though it does take a while for each successive page to load the thumbnails.

Tried it with both Firefox and Brave (both Mozilla). I'm on a Mac.
When I scroll down it shows the wheel that looks like sun rays then loads more, I scroll down same thing, then it loads more. Then when it gets to 50 it's done. No more loading no more photos.

While I'm talking about this feature, it's always difficult to find the image I'm looking for since they're all cropped into little squares and screenshots of listing forms and seller hub look the same when cut off like that. I can't see what I'm looking for so I have to hover over the image and wait for the title to pop up then move on to the next and keep going until I find what I'm looking for. Would be better if the image was shrunk into a square with empty space on top/bottom or sides instead of cropped into a square where I can't see anything.

@wastingtime101 you have way more photos than I do when posting on the Community. 😉
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature request, but I'll do some digging.
If you're comfortable, do you mind sharing a screenshot please? You can also send me a direct message if you prefer.

What can I say sheila@ebay? I help a lot of posters and found that a visual reference gets the job done faster than written instructions so my photo count has built up even though I regularly delete images.
A lot of the same problems come up over and over, so I reference the same screenshots. That's difficult to do when they're not available for selection. Seems like some kind of bug or browser compatibility issue since eburtonlab is able to access the images with Firefox on a PC but I can't access them with Firefox on a Mac.
Please also review post #4 above. It's a different issue regarding the same feature. The second issue I'm sure would be a feature request.

I do not have a Mac handy to test to see if this is a Mac-specific problem, but on my Windows 10 machine I can keep scrolling through the photos, no limit at 50 for me.
There should also be a link to "My photos" on your community profile page -- that page for me seems to display 30 images per page, and there are individual page numbers to navigate to, so perhaps you can find your images easier on that page, then copy and paste into a community post as a workaround.

How? I've tried pulling the URL from images in my album and putting that into the photo pop-up when I write a post but because there's no file extension in the URL it won't recognize the image.
I guess I could try pulling the URL and editing a post using HTML and adding image tags. That's a lot of work though.

Copy image works for me -- I open the image in the profile, then right click and select "copy image". Then paste it directly into the post. Alternatively, an image snipping tool is handy for images that are in odd formats
Here is my oldest image, from an old scam listing:

Ebay's upload is not working for me either. Spinning green. Ran a speedtest (Ookla) not great, but it should be working.

Don't know if it helps...........but this is what I see (Firefox, W 10)

Thanks, but that's a different action @dhbookds. Your screenshot shows you uploading an image from your computer. My issue is about accessing images saved on my community profile.
I'll get you the requested screenshots tonight sheila@ebay.
01-12-2022 04:21 PM
@dhbookds are you able to see all of your pictures?
What you see is what I see............I can go to the file and pull up a single picture.......but usually what I paste, I've just done the screen shot on, so just choose the last picture....
@wastingtime101 Sorry, I didn't (and still don't, lol) understand "saved on community profile"......will check into that when I have time.......

I don't use a MAC. I use Windows 10 and the Chrome browser, and instead of seeing actual screen shots when I click the camera icon to insert a photo into a reply on the boards, what I see is a LIST of my screen shots.
I have TONS of these. I used to scroll and scroll to find what I was looking for, and just recently learned that I could just type one letter and go to those photos to narrow my search.
