Forums loading very slowly

It's taking forever for pages to load.

It's back to slow page loading the past several days alan@ebay- posts are sometimes taking several minutes to go live.

Some posts are taking so long to go through that by the time they go live a discussion with 0 replies now has several replies and it looks like I'm repeating what others have already said despite hitting post before the time stamp of the first reply.

Pages are taking a long time to load when I go to view a thread- not just when I reply.

On the plus side- I haven't seen the dreaded red banner in at least week! 🎉

Thanks, @coffeebean832. I am always keen to hear reports about site slowness. I keep a very close eye on it. If you see other users chatting about site slowness, please send them here. Are there any particular pages that load slower for you?

Will do. The slowness isn't tied to any particular page.

- I experience it when I load any discussion forum- Selling, Payments, etc.

- It occurs when I load any individual discussion thread.

- And the past week or so it's been occurring when I hit the post button on a reply.

It's intermittent, not consistent. Usually if I wait a few (or up to 20) minutes the load speed returns to normal for a while.

Hi @coffeebean832, thanks for the details. The platform received numerous updates overnight last night. The platform feels faster and responsive to me today. Hoping you're noticing that too?

There were definitely moments of very slow loading today- but overall it's improved from yesterday. I saw the post that you'll be away for a few weeks (enjoy your vacation!) so I'll post an update at the end of the month if the slow loading is still a problem.
