Can someone tell me if there is something up with this board in regards to that weird "red bar" error that keeps popping up after a few minutes when I'm typing a post? I forget the verbiage of the error. It changes to a different one sometimes but usually says something about an "Authentication Ticket" or something to that nature.
It's annoying and always causes the post to fail when I click submit. And if I didn't already copy my post onto a notepad or something, I'd have to re-type the whole thing to try and submit yet again. Anyone have this happening to them too? Coincidentally as I typed this post, the error didn't pop up... it's kinda random.

Yes it is possible, you just have to be faster than the bots. I always save and then paste when it gets to the next page in the event error shows up.

Yes I can confirm like others have... when this happens it logs you out of the system so you have to log back in.
Hahaha, my current work-around is I type my entire post on Notepad and just copy/paste the entire thing onto the reply field. I don't even click on reply until I'm ready to paste. That way that page only stays open for 2 seconds. I'd like to see the Red Bar error ding me now! Ebay is all about work-arounds now.

Is this also just me, or is there a much bigger lag that usual when you navigate from any page in these boards to another page on these boards?? I see the loading keep spooling for awhile now whether it be submitting a reply, or just going to page 2 of a post.
At first I thought it was my computer. But since then I've done it with 2 other computers, 1 tablet, and 1 smart phone. All experience this page load lag.

Same Red Banner errors have been happening to me and many others for months. It's still possible to post, but takes a lot longer and I'm sure many posts are lost. The error also happens when trying to tag posts helpful.
My Watch List is also not working properly (error message on all pages after page 1).
Seems like bit-by-bit, eBay functionality is being diminished. Eventually users get frustrated and will stop trying to use work-arounds and move on.

Yes, I've also noticed a much longer delay to load pages. I've also been experiencing the Red Banner Error Messages (there are a couple) when trying to post or mark tag posts helpful. This has been happening for months. And a number of other new glitches, one with my Watch List (only page 1 can be seen - error messages for all other pages).

hi, alan...sorry about the one hand typing...broke wrist. add me to the red bar complaint crew here and the ebay auto signing me out...and losing the text. now i have to do a copy of my reply, then try and find the thread i was posting on. hope this gets fixed post haste. i am getting the bar that doesnt give me option to go back to original thread...just happened now.

Hi Alan,
It is still happening. Apparently, if the post doesn't get autosaved, there is no authentication ticket, thus a failure when try to submit the post. If any portion of the post was autosaved, and you are lucky, if you try to reply to the same post as previous, you will find the saved portion; load it into the new post and go on. More frequently tho, the whole post goes out there somewhere. IF you were trying to load and post a photo & it goes 'lost' after a failure, the photo feature will not work either for a bit.

tried all day to leave helpfuls and some time a reply and get the red authenticate bar plus it signs me out of forums automatically. been going on now for a too long a time.
