For me it would be the returns. The switch to 30/day free returns to keep TS badge has been a nightmare.
I dont necessarily want them to get rid of it, just make it for NEW items only. I just can't be expected to be responsible for 50 yr old electronics to work like new.

Oh...
The One change?
Fix the glitches!
No more rolling out new updates until EACH and EVERY present GLITCH has been fixed.

No more seller shipping performance. I can't control the delay by holidays and bad weathers. And I don't own the post office.

I'd like to see the entire feedback system dropped entirely in favour of the Resolution Centre.
EBay already ignores feedback in evaluating sellers. Why not drop the farce in favour of a running total of successfully completed transactions?
And if the transaction was not successful, the Resolution Centre can decide how to remedy the problem.
The Product Reviews could stay, but all sellers should be allowed to have Reviews which deal with specific transactions rather than the actual product removed. And of course, they should never be available on Used products.

Allow sellers to block buyers with too many returns or leave too many negatives for sellers in a set period (similar to the ability to block non-paying buyers with strikes).
Some retailers are refusing returns to buyers who abuse the system and eBay should consider that too.

Set up a whole new entity, call it Ebay II, leave the original Ebay alone, let the new Ebay accept Ayden, itune gifts cards, bitcoin, any other odd type of payment they can dream up . Make the new Ebay attractive to millenniums, martians, whoever. Have packages delivered by drones. Throw all tested, established and accepted practices out the door and start fresh so Ebay II can be in direct competition with Amazon.

Feedback isn’t just about what eBay uses. It is about buyers making informed choices so everyone isn’t dragged into resolution when problems could be prevented.
I really don’t understand why s many sellers are complaining about feedback when nearly all of them are at 99.8% or higher. This is like Lake Woebegone where all sellers expect to be above average.

If we have to do free returns for the Top Rated discount, make it 20%! With the increase cost of shipping labels, 10% isn't cutting it!
TRS was 20% and when too many sellers were meeting the requirement Ebay reduced it to 10%. That was the day I began NO returns and knock on wood I have not had a single issue. I suggest on Local PickUp items there is a link to mark it Picked Up. Mark it Shipped requires a tracking number and without that a defect will be given. I still show one items Awaiting Shipment from November even though the transaction is long over with feedback exchanged.

Agreed or even a few years earlier than that!!! The novelty and excitement was extraordinary and everything sold!!! It was helpful when 'bidder search' was enabled although I understand the reasoning behind removing the feature.

Oh pretty much this thing needs to be started over from scratch.
Ebay is one giant tangled mess that no one can unravel because it is so enormous and cumbersome.

I get 250 'free' fixed price listings plus 250 'free' auctions in certain categories per month with my store. I would amend that to 500'free' listings in any category and of any type. I would like to be able to create an auction on any item in any category without being charged extra (ie I can't auction a book without incurring a fee). While I am dreaming, it would be nice if any free listings I didn't use would carry over to the next month.
Searches should be improved. Also, if I click US only for location that means I don't want to see any listings where the seller lives in China but ships items in the US. US only means item and seller in the US!

Thank you~it is about buyers making informed choices. Many problems can be avoided by reading the seller's feedback comments, and their responses to them.

My answer used to be returns... but seeing how the search/catalog changes are coming together...
Mine would probably be to remove sponsored listings/bring back some form of HEALTHY competition. Sellers paying eBay for visibility is unhealthy, especially when customers prices are going up, sellers margins are going down, and only eBay is making some profit from the deal.... but that profit comes at the cost of sales prices, which makes eBay less competitive against Amazon/every other marketplace. There's no way to "compete" in a "healthy" way now. You aren't really fighting against your competition anymore. You are fighting against eBay for visibility, which is no longer based on how well you are performing compared to your competition. Healthy competition is the key to any marketplace that wants to thrive!
The catalog is one that I don't believe is going to end well either. It puts us in direct competition with Amazon as it's a copy of their exact search system, except our prices, shipping, and return policies will never be as good as theirs.
Another potential one would "Give eBay a strength over the competition". Prices used to be the biggest advantage, eBay gave it away. Being able to sell "anything" used to be a huge advantage, but the new search system/catalog is giving that away. OOAK/Collectible markets used to be a huge advantage, eBay gave it away.
Hard to pick just one, but those are my top issues. Sadly, issues like Return Policies/etc... those are definitely annoyances, but not hurting eBay as a marketplace nearly as much as the other things.

WELL SAID!!! I agree 1 million+ percent!
I'd like to add at least 3 things to your list (which immediately come to mind)...
1) that scams like bait-n-switch (aka price range listings) be banned too!
2) that good policies that are in place be enforced - like not having buyers purchase insurance, no choice listings, or/and insisting on having vendor 's use proper photos of the item instead of a generic example.
3) the methodology of reporting 'problem' listings be updated so that the reports actually get investigated and not ignored.
Buyers are tired of wasting time on all of this nonsense.
