with this new system idk about any one else but for some reason all my messages are visible from my "inbox" i usually "archive" old messages as we sell a lot of material from our shop so i don't want to delete the messages entirely in case something were to come up where i would need to review old messages. however i don't want the messages clogging up my "inbox" so that new messages are very visible and i wont miss them. and i tend to keep relevelant messages until the buyer as received their items before archiving them
also the text appears to be significantly smaller and the "avatars" are unneeded clutter the icons for mark unread trash .. etc also appear to be significantly small
overall i 100% hate the new messaging system , thankfully there is a "switch back to classic view"
i don't understand the "lets fix stuff that's not broken" mentality that eBay seems to have

I hate it. It causes way more work and effort to make sure nothing was missed. Please go back to the old format. If it ain't broke..........

I'm not checking messages on the site anymore. If that's the kind of service eBay wants it sellers to give buyers, oh well, too bad, so sad. My message window is still only about 2" wide, and I can't do a thing with it. Obviously there's no concern for how we all feel about it.
I respond to messages downloaded to my local email program by replying through that email program. I don't reply on the site because I'd like to keep my blood pressure readings normal.

can anyone get a search to actually return a result?

Nearly impossible to use.

Same, except I'd remove the word "nearly". I hardly look at it anymore - when I've tried to use it, I end up leaving before I tear all my hair out. Messages I delete show up again in the inbox - does this happen to anyone else?
I love how eBay pretends to want our feedback to improve things ... feedback they ignore entirely.
