Fake buyer setup a ebay account to thwart my sale as i refused ridiculous offers

I sold bike on gumtree, case opened against fake buyer, who has disappeared, case now closed.

I have been hit with fees now- how can i claim them back?

If you never accepted "fake" buyer's offers, I don't understand why you would open a case against that buyer.  If you ended your Ebay sale listing early, you were probably charged final value fees.  I don't think you can get that back.

If you opened an unpaid item case and closed it, you should get your fee's back.

If it wasn't an unpaid item case, what kind of case did you open on the buyer?
