and..i have taken off any items i had on ebay,,,,dont need their hassle,,they only protect the buyer never the seller,,,

You have tracking but you didn't enter it on the INR claim? (if there was one).

Not true, in a recent case I supplied the tracking number showing it was del'd, EBAY continued on the side of the Buyer. Why does EBAY hate sellers so much ?

If indeed you provided a tracking # showing delivery on an INR case and lost, you should appeal that decision.

Is it stuck in Jacksonville, FL by any chance? They're pretty well known for package delays.

@diddle47   Not true ... Sellers have protections too and I have benefited from some of them over the years.  Buyers have protections as well, perhaps more than Sellers but it's not like eBay always sides with them.

I want to sell things and ship them to people AFTER I've been paid and whether that person gets their item or not is NOT my problem.

 

Very wrong stance to take.

 

I'm sure if you paid $500 for something and it never got to you that you would be Just Fine with never getting it.

 

Ridiculous.

Why are you calling doug_5857 "karen".   Everyone here are volunteers and we are trying to help you.  So far, the only 'karen" that I see here is you.  Don't offend people that are trying to help you.

 

Now, I wasn't going to write this after your 'karen" statement but I can hear my mom saying to tell you this.  So here it goes.

   " If the buyer was refunded and the tracking shows that it's stuck somewhere, see if you can RECALL the package.  You will have to pay and the package will be sent back to you since your buyer was already refunded.    Go to the post office on Tuesday with the tracking #.  Go very early.  The clerk will look in their system since it shows more information and hopefully they can RECALL the package. You will have to pay a fee."

@laserpartshq2   Actually there is a little known fact about INR claims for Sellers.  eBay will extend a domestic INR claim UPTO 4 days if the Seller contacts them and asks for the extension.  During Covid they extended that out to 10 days.  The key however is to do it on the LAST day of the INR Claim as they extend the time from when the Seller contacts them (that was my experience when I did it on more than one occasion).  As it was explained to us here on The Community the caveat was the Selling account had to be in good standing although no other details on what that means was provided.

 

Additionally, they will assist Sellers per the announcement below for weather related delays ... like the current band after band of heavy storms hitting the west coast causing flooding and heavy snow fall in the mountains.   While some INRs will eventually result in the Seller losing the case, losing the money and the item their Seller metrics will not be affected and less than positive Feedback removed.

Which words are giving you the most difficulty? We can help explain them further.

 

Basically he is telling you that you can get the Item Not Received deadline extended up to 4 days if you phone in to request it. You would need to give us more details on the INR that you lost in order for us to figure out what went wrong. When Ebay denied the INR protection what did they tell you?

So you DID have tracking!!

 

Had you told us that sooner, we could have and would have advised you to open a missing package search. In my experience, that usually shakes the package loose from wherever it's stuck and tracking starts showing movement again.
