Streaming selling really only works for focused specialists with very low cost of goods. You don't get anything like the ebay price, but you usually sell everything every single time. And by not anything like the ebay price, I mean $20 ebay items selling for $5 from people with huge followings.
I wish the original poster the best of luck, his stuff is exactly the sort of stuff that is good for streaming, focused specialty and low cost of goods.
Long term I don't think streaming selling is going to be great, the number of sellers wanting to get into it is insane, the main service is specifically only slowly expanding the number of sellers because the customer base just isn't there for the number of sellers that want to do it, if a few other services pop up it could quickly turn into a more streamers than watchers scenario, like all those people who stream video games.
