I got negative feedback because she is unhappy to pay the shipping fees to return (buyer's remorse). eBay confirmed that I'm not at fault in this situation. If I refund the amount ebay's requests since I've received it ( exclude the shipping fee), will eBay remove the negative feedback? As a top-rated seller with a 30-day return policy, I was told by customer service that the feedback would be removed after the case is closed, as part of my perks. However, I'm concerned because I know the feedback doesn't violate any policies. Could you please verify if this is correct?
Please see the policy I google it, is that correct and applied to my situation?
If they are TRS, offer returns, accept the return, and refund then any negative feedback that you leave will be automatically scrubbed. It is a seller "perk".

I completely understand. That was my first reaction too.

Do the refund, so you can get your fees refunded. Worry about the feedback later.

I apologize if this has been discussed, but why don't you offer to pay for all returns?
This buyer is someone who, as you have reported previously, leaves bad feedback for most everyone. My guess is that she is trying to get free merchandise by filing false INADs. Free returns will protect you from those.

plus free return is necessary.

I am unable to offer a free return for this order. I’ve decided to update all my listings to offer free returns.

Same thing happened to me. Buyer refused to send the item back. Then left negative feedback and since E-bay wouldn't remove it I responded to it. Plus she was saying that it wasn't a snap, but for a necklace. I didn't have anything like that, so I let rip on feedback response. It effected my score, but I also let others know she was a scammer. She even said that she was disabled and had no way to get to the post office or mailbox. I told her to call and they'd come to her door. It's amazing how many buyers want something for free!! I road it out and am now back to 100% on feedback. My advice, if E-bay won't remove it, leave in response what you did and how they refused to send it back. Others will read it and continue to buy from you. Don't forget a lot of us sellers are also buyers.

When you sell something to someone. The terms of that sale are exactly what you had stated in the listing when the item sold. You can't change the return policy after the fact on the purchase. You can change it for future sales.

I ask for removal on EVERY neutral or neg.
Every time. Even if I deserve it.
And every once in a while they actually remove one.
Then I go buy a lottery ticket.
