Where to report a seller with porn magazines and barbie dolls in same store?

As a parent and grandparent, I have a real problem with this. Listing children’s toys and porn magazines in the same store is unacceptable. Did a search for a particular Barbie doll. Found one. Considered purchasing it. Looked to see what else the seller had for possible savings on multiple items shipping. I was disappointed to find among more Barbie dolls there were human porn magazines with extremely graphic covers. If ebay is allowing and promoting this mix of children’s toys and porn, I can’t sell here any more.

  And second, shouldn't ANY sexual material viewed easily by children be an issue?  Or is it just the gay versions?  The post seems to suggest the latter. tellmemama 

I didn't get that impression  at all . The OP made no hint that her objections to the porn  was based on homophobia . It just  happened  the porn she seen  was  very graphic  homesexual  sexual activity  that the seller provided . The OP didn't choose  the content , the seller did . As far as any contributions that I have personally made  about this topic   every post was about ALL hard core pornography . Especially the type which target male  consumers ,, which is about most of it.  What it all boils down to  is  this ,,  buyers either adults and  especially  underage children    should not have to be subjected to graphic porn images  against their will . When a seller  chooses to list a toy  for kids and then next item for sale   is a magazine  with  extremely graphic sex act  on its cover  then that is a direct infringement  on the rights of anyone  who happens  along .  It's against the law for children under the age of 18 to be involved with pornography  in any way shape or form . This is why the seller in question needs to be taken to task for the way he has displayed  his sale items.  I can not even imagine  a seller  getting away  with trying to sell  pro KKK  material  or Nazi / Anti semitic  publications  because  millions of people are offended and even frightened  by such things .  There's absolutely no difference  whatsoever  between that and the subject of this thread .  Tulips

I realize your comment wasn't directed at me  but I need to respond to it anyway .   I have two grown sons   one is 30 and the other is 33 .  My oldest son  just graduated from college , he's intelligent , well spoken , educated , has a good strong moral compass and he's gay .  Even he  yes  even he   would have been offended  by having the type of images   under discussion  forced on him while he was browsing for something else .  Tulips

That’s all fine and understandable to be uncomfortable with the images, but my post was specifically directed at a post that presumed unquestionable quilt and called for persecution of the seller without knowing all of the facts—simply put, my post was obviously directed at the blatant hypocrisy of that poster.

I can't stand porn, and if it comes up in search when it shouldn't, I always report the sellers. And I don't like sellers who sell porn.

I remember seeing a tv show regularly listed in my tv guide called Pawn stars, and I thought--I'm not interested in watching that filth.

It was about 2 years before I noticed the spelling difference.. And then Pawn stars became one of my favourite tv shows..

Well it seems sabash has difficulty understanding what he reads .  I've copied his messages and put his name directly  after  them.  Speaking of the seller  and getting  back to that . I had said mixing toys  with porn  is something a child molestor would do  and that is 100 percent correct  .  Many children have been kidnapped off the streets  by  pedofiles  just using candy or a puppy and then they will often  subject their young victims to porn  . However right afterwards  I said '' I'm not accusing the seller   of that . However sabash insists  that I accused the seller of being a child molestor   anyway.  And he claims  I could destroy  the seller's  life   because  I said that in a public forum .  When I pointed out the fact  the sellers name was never made public ,, sabash went strangely quiet .  Tulips

For what it's worth I never claimed it was the OP who said that.  That little nugget from another poster been addressed by myself and several others already.  Like I said, I'm gay too but don't want to see that stuff when I'm shopping either. 

Regardless of what we do in my own lives, that doesn't mean we are judge and jury to convict the seller of something NOBODY was positive he did intentionally.  Of course that didn't stop some posters.  So I have to say I'm still a little shocked I was the only person to contact the seller first.  The.  Only.  One.  Now once more for the cheap seats:  If you aren't going to read a thread in it's entirety, at least read what you say in your own posts.   Because the rest of us can still see it.

I guess you choose not to see how throwing all that out there when discussing this seller would connect the two.  Why even say all of that unless you wish to make the connection?  It sounds like now you want us to believe we needed educated on the subject in case we didn't know any of that, but it didn't have anything to do with the seller in question.   You didn't have to say outright that this seller is guilty of doing this to make it clear where you were headed.  

As I stated earlier, the seller's ID in question was outed in this public thread.

Now that's a stretch  . It isn't  irrational   when a  person has a good sense of right and wrong .  It doesn't mean they are '' delicate '' or  believe they are on a mission from God . It just means  they  are able to detect  when something isn't quite right and then have the courage to speak up . This is in fact a virtue  that should be respected  and it is ,, by most people .  Tulips

Not sure if you've noticed this before  in this thread or any other  I've laid comment  in  but I've never minced words  or had any problems expressing my true opinion . If  I was headed towards accusing the seller in question of being a child  molester   I wouldn't have just headed there ..  I would have been there by now  .  There's really no need to put words into  my mouth   that were never spoken.  Tulips

Good to see someone willing to help solve a specific problem without promoting their own causes or going into an ever changing multi-faceted crusade against everyone and every group they don't personally believe in. Invoking bible teachings seems a little over the top to disagree and promote someone's own causes.

     You made a huge difference in getting the issue resolved, thank you, again. Hopefully this thread will get locked or moved to a different area now. Maybe those who insist on advocating or promoting their own crusades can start a new thread in the proper forum and those of us who are tired of or not interested in those crusades can ignore them.
