Went to update quantity in a listing, and was prompted to a new revision process, where now you have to do more clicks to change something. It was perfectly fine before.
Is this where the increased fee go - to fund more inconvenience for the sellers?

What "new" process?

Do you mean item specifics?

No, item specifics was a "new" thing twice in the past year. This is totally new. Try to Revise your own listing. Unless they are rolling this "new" inconvenience on some accounts, you should see it. It just started today.

Like pulling teeth around here........
Describe the "new" thing and what is wrong with it otherwise most people here might begin to think there is nothing new and you are just confused.
I just did a test, the process (for me) to change the quantity available is the same as it has always been.

I'm guessing it's the "new" listing form..........if it has the video option, it's the new one.......

Yeah, when trying to Revise, the page converting existing listing onto List an item format, and it has all that inconvenience. I guess ebay is trying to be like Etsy, but it is not. Etsy has the most intuitive enjoyable way to list (I don`t sell there anymore, but listing was so much fun there).

Try some more, other sellers see that as well.
Are you sure you pressed on Revised button and not Sell Similar, etc? Maybe that is why you are confused.

I hit "edit" to revise one of my listings and it looks the same for me. I just read your post #7 again describing the issue and it sounds more like you are relisting than revising.

How would I be relisting the existing listing? That is not even possible to relist existing listings. No, it is when revising an existing item prompts a new format.

I guess it hasn't rolled out to me yet. Sorry, your post #7 just confused me. Your first post sounded like a revision more than the other one.

Strange, I thought it might be rolled to top sellers so far, but I see you are one as well. Enjoy the regular format while you can! 😄

oh, thank you for pointing how to bring it to the old format, such a relief!
Before I was able to switch to classic view, I had to answer why I didn`t like the novelty format. Thanks again!

If you are editing more than 1 item; the process is the same.
If you are 'editing' 1 item, yes- you are taken to the 'new' page.
Shock at first, but really pretty easy to use.
Pictures show first, so things are 'out of order'; but you'll get used to it.
It's just designed (like any other change) to keep us alive and pumpin....
