Just saw this a moment ago as a pop up on my main page on eBay! Hope this isn't just a temporary thing. It will potentially be a great help for everyone, sellers & buyers both!

I see some other comments making fun of this, but it's kind of an astonishing step in the right direction. I used to have the link to get a call-back bookmarked and know the hoops to jump through (and before that, when you could actually dial a number), but for the past several months at least it was apparently impossible to get ebay to call you. Their "AI" chat window was limited to specific situations and would lead you in loops if you tried to say anything it wasn't programmed to respond to. I know, as a seller, that we are used to seeing seemingly non-sensical moves and updates on the part of ebay-corporate, but I'd like to applaud them if this popup-link really does work. It shows someone out there is making an effort to improve customer service, and the popup makes it way easier to access a callback (way easier than the previous several implementations, I mean) - so thanks to whoever's idea this was. I hope it stays and doesn't disappear after a brief run.

I just noticed the same thing with-in the last few minutes. 1st time seeing that.
I wonder if it is seller specific and a test?

@roadking5555 I noticed that when that fades away there is a "?" on the bottom right of the page on a laptop which you can get easy quick help.

Surprised me this morning, and a good idea.

Sounds promising. I don't see what you are referring to but if i do go to the auto chat, it does give an option of contacting an agent. (after requesting in the chat)

I got it too and thought I clicked something I shouldn't have!

Yes, I just assume this is Ai chat that provides you with information. Not a real person.

@natoman777 I see the question mark in the lower right corner, but that is a help screen when you click it.
The "have us call you" pop up I am only seeing in my "Manage Drafts"section in my seller hub.
The pop up does not come up in other areas of my seller hub....listings. performance ect ect.

I'll withhold my opinion to see what type of help is being offered. If it is just an easier/quicker way to get bad advice, I'll pass.

Lol, I couldn't of said it better, especially if it's AI and not a real person. However, I don't think the "bad advice" will be any different.

Here is what you will get. You will be talking with AI and the answers you will get will be the Kool Aid in the office. Folks, eBay is not going to help you. Their sole purpose is to take as much money from you as they can. The warm fuzzy you feel thinking you are getting help is just that a warm fuzzy. This from a 24+ years Seller having sold millions on the site. This site is not sustainable.

What I am seeing is the option for them to call me. That is what I personally am happy to see

It's interesting...many companies are appearing to upgrade their CS. I had to talk to my cable company the other day and the person who answered told me they were located in the Detroit area, unless they were b sing me. However they were very helpful, so kudos. Hope it's a positive here on eBay. Here's hoping anyway. It's long over due.
Happy Selling
