I can never figure this out. I sold a shirt for 19.99 and according to Ebay, my net revenue is 10.94. Or is it 15.52? Did EB deduct both the shipping & fees; even though the buyer paid ($7) for shipping? *Confusing*!!

I don't use sponsored listings. The fees could be high because I am below standard. Memo to self: find another platform.

The buyer paid you $19.99 which includes shipping cost paid.
Ebay fees are $4.47
You paid $4.88 for postage$19.99 -4.47 -4.48 = $10.64 Your net revenue for the item.
So the Net is 10.64 or whatever the Total Funds is on screen? That leaves me with nothing. I've got to find another platform. This is ridiculous.
And to make it worse EB keeps sending emails to lower the price to get it to sell faster, which doesn't work.

If you sold the item for $19.99 and the ebay fees were $4.47 the net on sale is $15.52. The cost of shipping label was $4.88. When deducted from net this equals $10.64 Net. However, the buyer paid $7 shipping. If you deduct the actual cost of label from the $7 paid this will give you an additional $2.12 in profit bringing your total net on the sale to $12.76.

@goredrooster: This makes sense, thanks. I will have to change my equation.

How much did you expect to clear since you sold the shirt for $11.00? To end up with $10.64 is pretty good, especially since you are paying higher fees due to your status. You made money on the shipping it seems, which helped your bottom line. Why do you say you were left with nothing?

You also need to figure in what you paid for the shirt, if anything, to know your true bottom line.

I am so surprised by many of these confusing replies. No wonder you are confused, it looks like others have no idea either. It is so simple.
Take the Total the buyer paid which includes any shipping and taxes they paid. Deduct all the fees Ebay charged. Deduct what you paid for shipping. What remains is what is transferred to your account. It's always about what is transferred to your account.

10.94 was transferred to my account. Is 10.94 the final net revenue or is 15.54 the final net?

You ended up with $10.64 going to your bank after buying the label. Of course we don't know what amount you sourced the shirt for.

I was about to say. $10.64 out of an $11 sale is great. I don't understand what OP is complaining about here.

When you are rated at Below standard, you can't use Promoted Listings.
And yes, you have an additional fee for being Below Standard of on top of your regular fees.

That makes it appear as if the seller makes a profit off of the shipping, which is likely not true. The FVF on $7.00 is 93 cents, cost of shipping 4.88 = 1.19 for shipping supplies.

I'm not complaining. I want to know what I made? 10.64 or 15.52?

Fernwood, what equation should I use? That's what I'm confused about. The total Funds screen shows 10.64.
So do I deduct $7-4.88s/h? That would give a $3 difference.

$10.64. From the screenshots you posted, you received a total of $19.99 for the shirt including shipping. You were assessed $4.47 in fees. You then paid $4.88 for the shipping label.
