At a loss to understand why buyers leave negative feedback without trying to resolve the issue. I will begin screening all buyers for the feedback they leave for others. Only remedy is to block them.

Great reply to that feedback.
I would have no hesitation buying something from you.
Keep up the good work.
Added on:
I just thought of something.
That negative feedback would be considered a "product review".
It has nothing to do with the sale or the service you provided.
For that reason ebay SHOULD remove it.
I've had it done before.
I would keep trying until you get the right agent.
Good luck!

That stinks but I would not let it bother you much.
Would not effect my decision to buy from you. Your account looks good to me.

Feedback isn't a metric - don't worry about it, it's obviously a product review, anyway, and sounds pretty lame. They probably just left the neg because you don't take returns, though. Still lame but they may have felt no recourse.

I was going to type almost the exact same thing. 😁

I did offer a full refund.

Thank you. I strive to be as honest with the description as possible. And, by the way, I did offer a full refund.

How would you know BEFORE a customer bought something from you if they are a "good buyer: or a "bad buyer"?

If it comes via an offer, the seller can vet them somewhat before accepting.

@1136earlwood That first negative stings a bit but really has no impact on your sales. Most people these days don't bother with feedback, they see something they want, and they purchase it. Those who do look at your one negative will dismiss it as a product review and not a review of the seller themself. Concentrate on selling and this will fall to your second page where it won't be as prominent. Best of luck to you....

Buyers who have bid can still be blocked before they can bid again.

Thank you for the kind comments. I've been doing this for MANY years and the first one does sting a bit especially when it is undeserved.

I stopped caring about negatives a while ago. It seems if you do enough business on here you can't avoid them. The simple reason is "you can't please everyone". There's just some people that are miserable all the time.
The most recent was for a buyer who's package was returned to me as "undeliverable as addressed." which basically means they had their address wrong on ebay. They never contacted me, never sent me a single email, just left me a negative claiming that it was too complicated to contact me and left their phone number IN THE NEGATIVE COMMENT! They've left exactly 2 feedbacks for sellers both of them negative.

"How would you know BEFORE a customer bought something from you if they are a "good buyer: or a "bad buyer"?"
This was precisely my question, as well.
eBay sellers don't even know a buyer's eBay ID until or unless that buyer places a bid an an auction, or makes an offer, or actually Buys the item Now.

I'm very sorry this happened. I know you said you offered the buyer a full refund ... but was that before or after they left the feedback?
Many buyers are hesitant dealing with a 'no returns accepted' seller. They don't know what to expect if they contact one ... especially if they've been met with accusations or threats from a seller in the past.

The buyer never contacted me to try for a resolve. I offered the refund in spite of the feedback, but they used the product several times and claimed to have destroyed the box it came in. It was a brand new item. Nothing wrong with it, they just didn't like it.
