UPS Falsifying Dimensions and dinging every box

UPS is at if again Falsifying Dimensions adding just enough inch to make a box oversized , charging me $160x3 for 3 boxes I already paid $95-120 each for.  They add 1-3" per side just so it magically hits the oversized fee and ding me.  I'm obviously going to dispute as I have a proof with pictures.   But they are also dinging me for petty charges like $1-3 a on almost every box.  Fedex has been extremely fair and even refunds money on some.  Don't know what happened to UPS but unfortunately have to cut them out 100% and will slow down some shipments.  Sad but I'm tired of being ripped off and nickel and dimed.   Everyone needs to watch and keep track of their charges and fees on shipping labels on here.

The department that is supposed to is refusing too or not disputing correctly.  You CANNOT offer a service without consumer protection.   They sell a label, UPS audit it's after they move it and damage it , then round up every smashed corner another 1" , then eBay takes if from your processing funds before you ever legally possess the money and attempts to leave you with 0 recourse for getting ripped off.   It's not happening

1. You do not have to use eBay shipping for UPS.

Since you have had previous issues like this, it would be wiser to have your own UPS account to ship.  Then it is easier to fight the claims.

2.  You do not have to use existing funds if you ship with eBay shipping. You can choose to use Paypal/credit card option.   I'm not sure it would make a difference when fighting the claims.

You have a unique set of items that you sell and I really feel for you when it comes to these surcharges you are facing.    If you decide to keep selling these items it would be best to mitigate the issues by using your own UPS account.  I would not want or expect eBay to fight the battle. You need to take control over the things you can control.

Re: UPS Falsifying Dimensions and dinging every box

I've been selling these for years without an issue.  The last issue was a sign that I sold the 4th one, first 3 no issues.   Same problems UPS audit added just enough inches to try and scam me.   Now it's an ongoing problem with anything within a foot of being oversized and changed and extra $160-210.  Nothing but fraud going on here and not shipping anything til something is resolved. Nothing but shenanigans last 35 days , 6 cancellations after paying , now this is.  All 3 of these orders buyers reached out with odd demands and questions about these items I got dinged on.

Re: UPS Falsifying Dimensions and dinging every box

I called 5 times yesterday , last guy was decent but couldn't really do anything but send it back to the same department that screwed up the appeals and lied to me.  They also told me to create a ups shipping account and dispute through that.  I knew it wouldn't work but wasted hours trying to and obviously it's impossible.  Still waiting on a letter of proof of appeals and a way to upload proof of measurements.  I pulled a $10-15k in listings down yesterday and not shipping anything until this is resolved , obviously the buyers will start requesting to cancel soon.  I'm adding up all the days with my last 30 day average per day of sale lost during this "dispute" as well.  I'm not eating over $800 of overages.   These items I'm negative big time now on wasted 8 hours on drive time getting them , picking up materials, shipping them , And dropping off.

Did you need help or do you want to convince us that eBay and UPS is scamming you and committing fraud?

They are correct are close.  I took down 15k in listings.  There is only that costs $285-350 and it's 24x18x61 Santa.  Every other mold is $15-$140.  I've shipped out thousands.  My dimensions were 100% correct and I got dinged upcharged on molds I've shipped many times in the past.  I'm pretty fair with my shipping costs and don't profit on them and charge around after the discount on the large ones.  I spend a ton of money on boxes and time and extremely disappointed by this.  I didn't make a mistake or try to pull fast one on these.  I know exactly what to charge to sell the item and get paid properly for shipping.   As far as adding charges this is all new.  I haven't gotten dinged on blow mold shipping labels like this since 2020 when I first started shipping them, and like an idiot I didn't use a box.  But it was $80 surcharge not $165-195 per box on boxes I already paid $85-120 for.

Why don't you simply use USPS for ebay labels or another company to buy your UPS/Fedex labels (like Pirateship, totally free)??

I want my money back so I can continue to do business on here.  That's it.   I didn't do anything wrong.
