Tried to send a refund -- clicked Refund Buyer Twice -- nothing happened

I tried to send a refund and clicked Refund Buyer twice

but as far a I can see they are still asking for a refund.

Help!  Did the buyer gt two refunds, one refund, or none??  

Is this what is supposed to happen?

I tried calling ebay but they would not have a person speak to me.

 If anyone know how to speak to a person at ebay please let me know that too.

     Not a lot of detail on how you tried to do the refund. Are you responding to a buyer opened case or are you simply trying to issue the refund through the order? Are you getting any type of error message?

They did not get a refund because you pushed the wrong refund button.  Same thing happened to me a few days ago.  Couldn't send a refund until I found the right button to push.  I would help but can't remember where it is at the moment.

I am responding to the fact the buyer returned the item by filing an bay return request in the usual way.  I clicked Refund Buyer, twice.  It is a blue button.

I received   no acknowledgment.

What does your financial summary show?   Refunds should show up there with an adjusted payout total.

If anyone would point out where to find the correct refund button or else my financial summary I would appreciate it.  I want to to return the buyer's money.

Because a case was opened, you are unable to refund the "normal" way using the drop down menu.

You have to go to the return case and do the refund from there.

My Ebay > Selling

That takes you to the seller hub.

Under Orders, click on "All Open Returns".

The return case should show there.

You should be able refund from there.

Look under "payments" from your seller hub.  It's the same screen that shows payments from buyers and your payouts. 

If a return is open, I always refund from this.  Open the returns and a refund screen should be there to click on.
