Sort by lowest price + shipping not working right on my items. Can anyone help me verify this?

For all of my items I have the cheapest price but when I search by "price + shipping" my item is in the middle of the page below many other items. These are not "sponsored" listings first as they don't say sponsored on them. (also I pay for promoted listings as well on my items) I have tried this on multiple different browsers, different computers, different accounts and all the results are the same. I have noticed this for the past week. From what I'm seeing there are 2 groups of listings. One group is sorted first by lowest to highest, then the 2nd group is sorted lowest to highest and starts in the middle of the page. I can't figure out what puts a listing in the 1st group vs 2nd group.

For example if you search for "wicked starbucks mug" My item is cheapest at $44.99 + $9ish shipping, but the first results is $54.95 + $13ish shipping and my result doesn't show up until after the $200+ listing

and then halfway down the page the results start over from smallest price with different listings

is anyone else able to verify this or is it just me?

some other things affect this such as return policy and level of promotion maybe and seller status, shipping time, condition, etc

it's all outlined somewhere in there "rules"

I understand that would be the case for "best match" sorting, but sorting by "price + shipping" should only be by price?

@rossgames  yes, it's an ongoing issue. I've seen multiple reports here in the community and across social media.

I noticed the same recently. If you sort by lowest first the number of items is different also. It seems to remove some completely from search if you look at the total numbers.

Yes, this is happening for me too.  I'm so frustrated.  I contacted Customer Support about it on Sunday.  They didn't even file a ticket.  They asked me to go to the feedback for search results and enter it there.

Hey @rossgames! We do apologize about the sorting issue yourself and others are experiencing. This is a known sitewide issue that does have a ticket open for resolution on it under ALERT15574.

Same.  The only semi solution I've found is to just end the listings where this is happening and then list them again using sell similar (not sure if it works with the "relist" option).  It's not a real solution, but it will get the listings back where they belong in the search.  I've had to do this in two entirely unrelated categories so it does appear to be a site-wide problem.

does this actually work? because my new listings I create still go at the bottom

Ebay  still hasn't completely  fixed   the search filter  system in the seller's stores.

It's almost like they think we're too stupid to do addition or something.

You took the words out of mouth. Because I was thinking the same thing .   I will never  under stand  how the folks running the  site  let these things happen.
