Buyer left me this. He can't read the description and his wife got mad at him when the product came. Asked online for EBay to remove. Doesn't this violate policy? Can I call the EBay phone person a POS?
"your a real POS I hope you can interpret that"

"Sold me expired milk for my baby ,your a real POS I hope you can interpret that"
You're not allowed to sell expired baby formula.
Date of purchase: Sep-24-20
Your listing states it expired on 9/1/2020
Read up on the Food Policy, in particular:
The following and similar food items are not allowed:
- Expired food
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/food-policy?id=4295
There's a chance your buyer wasn't shown the entire description on the device she used. It's up to you to make sure your listings are allowed in the first place.
That said, eBay may remove the feedback if reported, even though you deserve it. Sorry.

I offered a refund the day he got it, the 28th and he filed a return claim. 5 minutes later he canceled the claim. 8 days later, this. The product was sold at a substantial loss and pretty much for shipping it. I responded before he left the feedback that he would get a refund and to ship it back at my cost. Perhaps he thought he would be able to keep it for free. I would've donated it after i got it back. Seems that people don't read descriptions anymore. I sold a wheel kit for a cooler and the buyer claimed that he was buying a $150 cooler when it was a $30 wheel kit. Maybe I just found another low IQ buyer.

The Item Specifics says the expiration date was 8-1-20. The description field stated it was 9-1-20. So which was it?
You got off easy here. The buyer could have raised holy hell with eBay. Selling expired baby formula equals a public relation nightmare. And your response tells your prospective buyers that you knew it was expired when you sold it, and that you have no remorse for doing so. That they got "a deal". Oh man, this is bad. What on earth were you thinking?

"Clearly stated it was expired." LOL

Waht made you think that selling expired BABY FORMULA was a good idea in the first place.
The loss was when you didn't use it in time yourself.
If you couldn't use it, you could donate it to a food bank-- BEFORE IT EXPIRED.
You may as well give up on getting any sympathy here.
Your buyer is in the right. You messed up.
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it.

Maybe he should leave buying things to his wife.

No, I agree with others This Is Your Bad. Clearly stated in your listing (cut and pasted from the listing) Available in delicious Natural Milk and Vanilla flavors. Main ingredient is milk and has other important nutrients. This Formula is not expired.
Granted a lot of your problems (beside the audacity to sell outdated formula) is you don't seem to check your listings on eBay mobile. Often the app will not post full descriptions. You always need to check listings and adjust.
And then there is the fact that some things just shouldn't be listed. Personally I am not afraid of some expired foods, recently picked up some short dated K cup pods and even some expired ( I left all the milk based ones cappuccino and hot chocolate). When this pandemic started I was able to hit BJ's warehouse while both of my daughters were working. Not knowing how bad it would get I bought a lot of canned foods. Not a big fan but I haddn't planted a large garden in years so home canned supplys consisted of a lot of apple butter and jellys. Recently I went through and checked dates. Anything within a couple months of expiring I loaded into the cupboard outside our local police and fire station. It's a community cupboard, people can leave unneeded shelf stable items and anyone can take what they need. Everything I left will be picked up and used before it expires.

Well, you can, but it probably wouldn't be advisable, and it could, quite possibly lead to a policy violation with warning or action associated.

Besides the obvious reason not to list this item, why would you list it if you had to sell at a substantial loss?

Perhaps you should leave selling/listing items to your wife if you have one.
Expired items are not allowed to be sold on eBay....hope you can interpret that.

Did you know that baby formula is the only food that is required by the FDA to have an expiration date? So expiration dates in baby formula are clearly important to people.

That said ... I think there are two issues here.
First, your listings says the milk was not expired, which may have been true at the time you listed it but it appears to not have been true at the time you sold it. That contradiction would violate eBay policy, so if that is the case then IMHO the buyer is 100% justified in leaving a negative feedback.
Second, the buyer's feedback includes "POS" which is clearly an abbreviation for an obscenity. That also violates eBay policy.
But when the feedback is valid but the wording is offensive, the remedy that eBay generally applies is to remove the offensive comment but to leave the negative intact and still count it against you.

Plenty of stuff is sold on EBay. Above is an example. Search nicotine gum. Most of the lower priced options are outdated. If you don't want to buy an outdated product, don't buy it.
This is toddler drink, not baby formula.

You might want to read the food policy:
You can not sell expired food. Drink comes under food.
The following and similar food items are not allowed:
Expired food
Only reason such may be listed is it has yet to be reported.

This is toddler drink, not baby formula.
Then why did you call it "formula" and "baby formula" right in your listing?
If you don't want to buy an outdated product, don't buy it.
If you are selling an outdated product, don't claim that it is not expired in your listing.
