I'd ask them if their happy please remove negative and send them a request

I agree with tsme35.
If they are happy, you could probably point it out to them and send them a request.
Most likely a mistake.

That's up to you. I first do what the first person said which is send a request to review. If that doesn't work I get it removed through appeal. It's really what you feel you want to do.

That is funny! LOL
I would like to share my neutral: It was a gift and arrived early.

You listed the item with the neg in the laserdisc category, with laserdisc in the title and at least 2x in the description.
I got one of these from selling and delivering timely a $1 advertising postcard picturing a big machine, listed in the postcard category, noting postcard in the heading and the image clearly showing a postcard, but the buyer seemed to think he was getting the big machine pictured.

That's as bad as folks who buy sewing patterns thinking they're getting the actual garment.

Warning - Exercise Caution
there is always room left for improvement

IMHO a seller should NOT send a Feedback revision request UNLESS the buyer has agreed to do it. We only have a few of these forms every year, but more importantly they have a shelf life. If the buyer doesn't know to look for an Ebay email, the email could age off and close. Then the seller can't issue another one as we can't do that for the same transaction.

I would contact the buyer to see if they would do a revision. Many buyers don't read the actual feedback while making a purchase. Some just glance and if they see a bad percentage, they pass. Your stats are great so i would not worry too much. Again, it does not hurt to ask the seller to revise it.

When someone is leaving negative feedback, they are asked if they had contacted the seller to try to work out any issue and they get a prompt they have to check OK to regarding they are about to post a negative or Neutral and did they want to do that. It's pretty hard to accidentally post a negative.

You have interpreted my post to mean something different and maybe i should have been clear.
I am saying to communicate with the buyer and ask them. It is not horrible written feedback, but my point was that future buyers may just look at the percentage (which the OP has stellar feedback percentage) when making a purchase. If the OP can get it removed, more power to them.
Revised:

I would leave it, no one ever looks at green feedback, this is a good feedback that buyers will actually look at
12-18-2024 04:49 PM
Let it go.
What if it stays negative with a negative statement.
I wouldn't do anything except block the buyer.
It's kind of funny and potential buyers will laugh at it and will still buy from you.

Yes, get it removed unless you want to look at it for a whole year. I guarantee you it won't seem that funny in a few months.
