Sending Offers Bug, I've Figured It Out.

Over the course of the last 5 days I've had 12 or so offers that were sent out as $25 offers on my end, show up for the buyer as $2 offers.  I called eBay and they said they were aware of the problem and opened a ticket.  Meanwhile, it's still happening.  I just figured out the bug and wanted to share on the boards in case anyone else is having this issue.  It's a costly issue and is 100% eBay's problem.  Please see the screenshot below.  It only happens when using $25 for some reason.  When you put in $25 it shows up as $2 on the offer being sent. 

I just called eBay and the rep told me they fixed the issue but this was just taken a minute ago so it is not fixed.

Mine is still not working correctly.  So $25.00 will go out as $2.00.  $12.00 doesn't go out at all unless you do $12.01.

In the meantime, there appears to be a trick to help keep this from happening, but it will mean going a bit more slowly. They said after you enter the offer, wait until you see the preview of the offer amount in green on the right side of the screen. Only after you see the preview, then click ‘Send offers’.

velvet@ebay  That "trick" doesn't keep it from happening.  Just means that if you notice it, you can stop yourself from sending the incorrect offer.  Which is what I've been doing for weeks.  But good to hear that a fix is on the way!  Thanks for the update!

they have been today with no issues. But like I mentioned the issue started and lasted for about a week then went away for about 4 days then came back again. Now it's good. We will see if it lasts?

Just a guess, but it may be that it will take a while for the fix to propagate. Some servers may get updated sooner than others. We see this happening on other occasions when someone notices a surprise change that no one else sees... then a few more people report it... then more... and so on, until the change is site-wide (for better or worse 🙄).

Hopefully they fix it soon, as of 8/15, I'm still getting the same errors.  It hasn't been fixed.

Just wanted to give a quick update, mine has been fixed!  Just tested this morning and it is working correctly!  Wootwoot!

January 22, 2023, I noticed an issue with selling an item when sending offers to buyers. I had a sale going on, and was sending out offers to buyers. One in particular I noticed when packing my items showed, sold for a dollar. It sparked my attention because I know i didn’t send an offer for a dollar, nor did the sale I had going on will put it at a dollar. So, because the item was a low cost item, I shipped it anyway. But, now I started seeing more come through the same way, 5 to be exact. One in particular is a pair of Jordan’s I had a sale on, and I decided to make the deal sweeter, Lord behold I didn’t expect the deal to be that sweet. I sent out an offer I say around $100.00 dollars and the buyer paid for the item but only paid $10.00! WHATTTT!!! So now I’m on the phone with eBay trying to find answers but only getting the runaround after five calls since 1/23/2023. No one seems to No anything there! This morning I got another one, it’s very frustrating , anyone having the same issue?
